Hoping to get an early start today! I'm finishing up our wedding invitations on the Cameo then I can move on to scrap some pages.I looked for a local monthly crop, but there aren't any until September, so looks like I'll be on my own for a while lol. I need some scrap company.... Anyone scrapping today or this weekend?

I am finishing up one kid's birthday card design and then mailing 2 boxes of cards today. DONE
Then I'm working on my July TN for the remainder of the weekend. I think I'm up to July 13th. Really don't want to have August start and be so far behind.

I am hoping to. At least, to get into the room and tidy up a bit, so I can find everything I need. I really want to re-organise my desk, but am a bit afraid to start on that, as it may turn into a long process! I did get some crafting in today - one of my mini-kinder co-workers is finishing up next week and returning to the UK over the summer. I have cut 12 flowers - one for each of the children in the group - and printed small photos of each child, which I punched into circles for the center of the flowers. They really look so cute! I am going to get the mums to write a message on another flower, and attach that to the back of their child's flower, with a bamboo skewer in between, to make a 'bunch of flowers' for her!

What a cool idea, sueg! So thoughtful, and a great way for her to remember you all.

OMG crystalb ! That sounds wonderful (except for the power going out part)! I'm hoping to get some done this weekend. I've been plugging along with my PL just catching up on the last couple of weeks but am starting to get the itch to scrapbook bigger than a pocket page!

I am hoping to do more than reorganizing my desk. I would love to do a page or two. I need to put a dent in my stash as I just ordered some Tim Holtz Halloween stuff. Not that a page or two will even come close but I would sure feel better if I did.

I am making two 50 page books of a trip to the Dominican Republic. I already have the photos printed, layouts picked, and kits made. I make two of each layout, so I technically have to do 4.5 layouts twice. I could easily do it in less than 12 hours IF I sit down and get going. I have it all laid out on my table and ready to go. So what have I done all day? I have been organizing stuff that I have purchased the last month instead.

Since that is already done, I should be good to go. I am not a simple scrapper by any means, but I am also not big on tons of techniques, so I can rock them out in a timely matter. I am semi-retired (work M-Th 20 hours a week) and my boys are adults and they do not require much time. My dogs take up more time than my boys.

Anyone scrapping today or this weekend? Well, I have a couple photos and embellishments on my desk. I might be able to whip something together. I don't feel very inspired, and hoping that changes.

I hope to get some done this weekend since it is supposed to rain. I made 7 cards this week, but now, I have to clean off my table and I want to reorganize my craft room. Today, I changed dies from 2 small binders into a large binder. So now they are organized. And now I want to work on the rest of the room and get a couple of pages done before Monday.

No I will not be scrapping. I will be sewing and then on Sunday my husband are resuming our living history volunteerism at a local museum after not doing it for about 15 years. We are going to volunteer 4 hours on the last Sunday of each month just to do something together and get back to what brought us together. Here's a postcard from when we used to do it with my little baby boys and me in the center by the little guy in the red coat. My DH and baby boy are on the right. This was taken like 23 years ago. I digress from the question, though. I took off all week to clean a few rooms in my house. Made tedious progress and then - I discovered that my son's college diploma got pitched with other cardboard from scrapbook paper I ordered. It was picked up by the trash people this morning. This is the epitome of why no matter what you throw out you will find out you really shouldn't have. I have ordered a replacement from the university. I also went through my zipper cases that I carry in my rolling tote to crops and organized it all, and got a plastic box for my enamel dots. That is about it for SBR this weekend.

Hope so! I have 2 planned out school layouts to do, would like to get them done and put the school stuff away. I will still have another school project remaining, but I think I will need to move on to another theme.

I am at a scrapbook retreat this weekend, started yesterday afternoon. Having a fantastic time with a lovely bunch of ladies. Completed one layout so far and am half way through my 2nd one. There is a shop on site which so far I haven't been in but a little shopping spree is on the cards for later today!

Oh the time I spend letting him in, letting him out! I would love after my son's wedding to really knock some pages out this year. I'm up for any tips!! Happy Scrapping!

I, too, tend to get sidetracked when I should be scrapping...speaking of, I better get off and go make my Cameo titles....

I don't know what just happened. I spent a good hour prepping a 4x4 WRMK album for December Daily? What? I wasn't planning on attempting one this year after so many failures but my brain just went into cutting-paper-sliding-ephemera-in-pockets mode. So, here I am, with die-cuts, stitched labels and PL cards, trying to create a nice layered and textured basis. Sorcery, I tell you. Voodoo doll, black magic. I've never done this so thoroughly before. I've never started working on a mini project without sketching things out a little. I think the stress of my first summer break coming to an end is getting to me!
