Stars, hearts, arrows, triangles, circles, pineapples, flamingos, mustaches, houses, asterisk looking things, something else? What do you love to sprinkle around the pages you make?
For me it is a combo of stars, hearts and arrows as they are pretty gender nuetral and I scrap both a girl and boy mostly. I also use the asterisk looking things a lot. But my first go to are stars for sure! I love stars in all shapes and sizes and colors. Hearts I am a bit more particular about. I lean more towards symmetrical hearts and what was on the market for a while were what I dubbed "wonky" hearts and I didn't care for those as much.

I'm a big fan of stars. I scrapbook boys a lot and they just seem to fit a lot of my pages. Hearts are also something I use a lot.
As for the non-generic icons, I find animals to be pretty useful. I have cats, the rest of my family has dogs, and I go to the zoo a lot.
I like flowers but in moderation. There was a time in scrapbooking history where everyone put tons of flowers on their layouts.

I mostly use stars and cameras. I purchases several sheets of paper with just cameras that I can cut out to use.

Yes, I'm a big fan of stars too. I like stars, arrows, anchors. I've pretty much always loved iconic art images, sort of inspired by classic/retro tattoo art. Lately I put more hashtags & geotags just because they make sense for the stories. If I'm doing something freehand, it will be more of a swirl or splat.

For some reason, I find arrows difficult to use...not that it stops me from buying them! I use a lot of cameras, geotags, and stars. I cannot resist a camera! I am trying to get in the habit of using hearts generically rather than on pages about someone/something I "love" because I have lots of them and they always look cute on pages.
I still have lots of flowers, but I am more particular about where I use those...lookout for flower overload if I am ever scrapping a floral related photo.

I use a ton of stars. I'd like to pick up more hashtags. I'm completely stumped with geotags.

I don't think I have a favorite. I like hearts, stars, flowers, and butterflies.
I do like arrows, but for those peas who use them a lot, what do you use? An arrow punch, die, stamp, sheets of paper with them? I've been wanting to do more with these. Any links to a product you like?

Hearts and stars.
Sometimes I use a camera or a geotag but not often.
Rarely use arrows for some reason. I haven't found any I like other than some small wood veneer ones I'm hoarding.

I am not sure why but they always look awkwardly random on my pages. I like a lot of what's been mentioned: circles, hearts, stars/asterisks, cameras, clouds, tabs, and an occasional butterfly or feather.

I love hearts, stars, and cameras. I love the cork arrow stickers I had that came in a kit. I have a zillion geotags and try to use them if I put the location of whatever I'm scrapping on a label or tag. I'll put the geotag next to it.

Stars and arrows the most I think. Then circles and hearts. Occasionally ovals or bracket shapes.
I have several different star dies that get a workout. Circles and hearts, I have punches and dies. For arrows, I use arrow papers and stickers and stamps. I especially like the ones with loopy shapes, b/c they represent the frenetic energy of my dgs's. I also sometimes freehand a more traditional arrow by cutting a corner of a scrap off as a triangle, and placing it as the point on top of a narrow rectangular piece. Sometimes I notch the other end of the rectangle.

1. hearts and stars 2. cameras and arrows 3. labels/tabs 4. Butterflies 5. owls, (dd favorite animal is an owl and I use one on probably 6 out of 10 layouts with her) 6. birds, acorns, feathers, leaves Circles would be first considering enamel dots, flairs, gems, etc.

I seem to use a lot of birds, cameras, and hearts. I have some little wood veneer birds that I just love. I also like to use arrows. I point them at the photos, sometimes with a word or phrase that describes it.

Stars, hearts, arrows, cameras, butterflies, brackets, and swirls. I use my hashtag die a lot on my kids and vacation layouts.

For me it's flowers, stars, butterflies, hearts, and birds. Do enamel dots count? Because that's another favorite.

Hearts, enamel dots and stars...in that order. I wish stars ranked higher, but because of the points being how they are, they often don't cover edges of things and look as nice as I would like...either they are tilted or leave a gap that isn't pleasing to my eye.

Stars, enamel dots, flowers would probably be the most used - then tags, arrows - anything reasonably generic. Not pineapples LOL!
