Putting on my bitchy pants. I hate Live-Love-Laugh. It's so overused and unoriginal. It's seems to be everywhere, on the internet, on walls, bookmarks and people have it tattooed on their bodies.
What cliche's or phrases get under your skin?

"Word". I hate that word. LOL
Bada bing; bada boom. So overused.
All the silly phrases used by every scrapbooker in the world; like "I hope you dance".

Everything happens for a reason.
She/he's in a better place.
Neither one of these cliches need to exist in our vocabulary. Not everything happens for a reason. Serious shit happens for no good reason.
My Mom and sister are not in a better place. They should be at home with us and going out for dinner tonight.

I agree with Elannah about "he/she is in a better place" that's what got told to me when my dad passed and I wanted to throat punch the people.
This isn't a phrase but I hate the word "Littles" it gets a huge eye roll from me.

Best Day Ever!!! was repeated in a scrapbooking line I used over the weekend at least a dozen times. It's not the best day ever if we have 12 of them while on vacation!

Pretty much all vinyl wall art.
If someone made me a sign that said "Netflix.Rosé.Burritos" I would happily display it.

"If I can do it, anyone can!" I hate that line with a passion. No, not everyone has the same resources and support you do.

I like that one! It makes much more sense than "everything happens for a reason". That's probably the only time I do use that phrase. No dumb ass, shit happens. It is what it is.

What cliche's or phrases get under your skin? My apartment complex used to put out a bulletin that said "Tips for Living, Laughing, and Loving Your Apartment life." I don't need to tell you how ridiculous that is. Personally, I never want to see the word WOWSA again. Not only is it a stupid word, but it just reminds me of Inspector Gadget's catchphrase, "wowsers." ETA: I also hate Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Somehow, I tolerate easy peasy, but add lemon squeezy and it makes me really (irrationally) angry.

"God never gives you more than you can handle." Like WTF! If I was a weaker person, all this shit would not have happened to me?? I was going to post this very one. It's quite insulting. To someone in pain and to God. After all, billions of people have died. Obviously they encountered something more than they could handle. And those in psychiatric hospitals. On anxiety meds. Hell, even insulin. They must need some help handling what they've been given.

"Everything's going to be just fine" and "It can't get any worse". Bullchips. Things can and do get worse and sometimes things aren't just fine. Sometimes it's just gonna suck.

Just about any twee/trite saying cut into vinyl and pasted on a wall or found on a project life card. In my work life it would be "it is what it is." Makes me clench my teeth.

I can do hard things! - - That's really popular right now, with scrapbooking stufff. I've seen on lots of stuff and I think NO NO I can't do hard things! LOL!
I agree with the 'she's in a better place' with my mom. And I'm a believer but it still pisses me off! Cause it was something really stupid, a bad fall. She had had so many freak crazy accidents that this one is making it really hard to be okay with. I get that all the time.. I know people are trying to be nice!
