It was kind of a dismal final three but I'm glad Josh won. The jurors may have had their minds up, but Paul did himself no favors in his final speech and Q&A. He continued to lie about his game right up until the end. If I was on the jury, I would have respected him more if he fully owned up to his gameplay. His final speech sounded stilted and robotic. Paul's communiacation style and his charisma are what carried him through the game and made people trust him. None of that was present tonight. And I REALLY hated that he had the audacity to seriously call Josh a coward for coming clean in his goodbye messages. Everything Josh said in those messages was true. The real coward was Paul as he lied about his role in their ouster in his goodbye messages AND as he let everyone else do his dirty work throughout the game. I get that it's game play, but you can't call someone else out for cowardice after doing all that. Freaking hypocrite.
And those people contributing to Go Fund Me pages for Paul, what fools you are! Have you seen the wealth that he lives in? I realize it's primarily his family's money, but he's doing just fine--there are much worthier causes out there to throw your money at.
Oh, and Cody winning the cash was crazy and kind of hilarious. I think people were sending a message about how much they hated the bullying. Plus, some people probably found his "I don't give a shit" attitude refreshing.

I just finished watching and have to say seeing Paul be such a poor sport and such a jerk made me super glad he lost. He was such a baby about a Josh's good bye videos, I think it was super smart of a Josh to lay it all out like that. I think Paul was just pissed because it just show cased what a liar he was and how two faced. I know you have to lie and manipulate to win this game, by you don't need to instigate bullying and mean behavior and It really annoyed me that he didn't take any responsibility for that.

holy crap I can't believe that Paul lost by one vote again! that really sucks for him. Bitter bitter jury, and Josh's goodbye messages really helped to screw him with them

Plus, some people probably found his "I don't give a shit" attitude refreshing. Especially what I bolded. I couldn't believe that Paul heard Josh's owning his involvement in sending HG to the jury as blaming Paul. What is absolutely priceless is that the jury voted before we saw the goodbye message montage. I can't remember if it was Jason or Alex or someone else that said Paul overlied. Paul lied where he didn't need to and that was his undoing. I loved that Alex said she was voting for who stabbed in the front over who stabbed her in the back. SaveSave

Yes! I agree that was a great point about the overlying. I do thinked that helped do him in. People get frustrated by "bitter juries" but it's part of the game to find a way to manipulate people and be responsible for their ouster without having three hate you. It's tricky but we've seen it done.
I wanted to point out something t forgot to mention that made me lol. When Coy was told he was AFP an Julie Jed him what he thought, his response of "It jut oesnt make any sense." Wa perfect!

I have read so many messages about finding people who know how to play the game and not have them be sore losers. I think people know how to play the game (maybe not this cast because they really didn't play much....just followed Paul).....I just think some players want a balance. You can tell some whopper lies and still have balanced game. There was no balance here.

I can't stand Paul. I don't really like Josh that much, but I'm glad he won.
The funniest part was at the end when Raven was standing with her arms locked with Paul. She really does believe that she and Matt were Paul's "real" alliance.

There is a god! Wow...we recorded it and were not going to watch it tonight if Paul had won. I simply could not stand Paul...snarky, creepy and a compulsive liar. Josh had become fun the last few weeks. Christmas should not have been allowed to stay in it after the accident. She was always with a big smirk congratulating herself on her 'big moves' which were not big. I think if Cody had not hooked up with low life Jessica, he would have won the whole thing. The GoFundMe thing for Paul just demonstrates how dumb some people are. Please, please...I never want them to bring a past player in again.

I felt like I was Punked by the whole show. I agree with whoever said bitter jury. Alex & Jason were pissed Paul outsmarted them.
Why so many questions & emphasis on Paul being a "bully" but no mention of Josh bullying Megan right off the show? She didn't even get to say a peep.
Oh & my daughter thinks Paul is sort of "celebrity" now & wouldn't be surprised if he was on the Celebrity version.

Why so many questions & emphasis on Paul being a "bully" but no mention of Josh bullying Megan right off the show? Megan was rooting for Josh; here's her twitter: Megan
She has said she doesn't blame anyone in the house for her departure; her severe anxiety was making her physically ill and she landed in the hospital for a several days after she left. Josh had at least apologized to her; she said she had problems with Cody also (and we saw a glimpse of that with his "I just don't like you very much" speech), and, to a lesser extent, Mark. She said she was already talking to production about leaving when the Alex/Jessica panda/PaoPao thing happened which is what tipped the scales in her decision to leave. Paul also told the cameras that he stirred the Megan pot and took credit for her leaving: link

I wasn't saying Paul might not have been involved. But Josh definitely bullied and he's a grown ass man so he could have said no to Paul when he stirred stuff up.

He went rogue on his own and I think that was his downfall. He screwed all his alliances. Jessica would have talked him out of that if she had known. As much as I disliked her, I think he hurt her game. JMHO.

OK. I just read this on someone's FB page. This totally explains why Cody won America's player. Apparently Jessica was fronting for him on the outside. Getting votes. Telling people not to vote for her, but for cody. She also had Evil Dick, and Janelle getting votes for him. This seems sort of shady?!! but explains a lot!!!

I think long time fans of the show might have voted for Cody to send a message to production about bringing back Paul/vets in general. They voted for the one person in the house who never fell under Paul's spell. He is the anti-Paul. He didn't fall into the traps of production meddling with his game play.

Does this mean that next year they will be bringing back Cody? Maybe with Jessica? Like they brought back Rachel and her showmance guy (now husband?) Please, NO!
Maybe it was the editing, but Cody set my teeth on edge the first episode, when he was HOH and was planning about how his team would be the 4 strong guys and the "babes" as the outer ring.
I know it is a game of intrigue and manipulation to some extent, but I much preferred Jason's attitude; even Kevin's or Mark's. Do you think a lot of the votes for Cody--other than the slap in the face to Paul--were young girls oohing and ahing about his looks and the "love story" with Jessica?

At first I was surprised to see the Joker's poll had Cody at the top of who will and who should win AFP, but after thinking about it, and knowing these are diehard fans, I see it as rewarding the guy who saw through Paul. Cody's game was definitely flawed but everyone else was blinded. There was a late push to give votes to Cameron which would have been the best message ever to production and this sad band of HGs. Josh's goodbye messages weren't to screw Paul. He didn't say Paul screwed you, he said I'm in a final three alliance with Paul & Christmas and you were next to go. He didn't know Paul was lying. In fact, Paul's messages were clearly & deliberately made to screw Josh and Christmas and it backfired. Paul flat out lied in his messages. He could have said "sad you're gone, really enjoyed playing with you, looking forward to seeing you on the outside" but he went with shock and feigned ignorance. I'm not sure the jury was bitter. I think pissed and mad along with disappointed in the lying past the point needed is a better description. IIRC, Elena & Mark weren't on board with the over the top bullying and for Paul to not have a prepared answer to that was just unbelievable IMHO. His downfall may be that he never sat in the jury house and never realized that they would all be comparing notes. SaveSaveSaveSave

SaveSave I think the message about Cameron did get through to production. They spent the most time with Cameron and Jessica of all the pre-jury members. If he had not been getting enough AFP votes to garner some attention, I don't think a Day 1 boot would have gotten any questions at all.

I think Paul thought he had all bases covered and was guaranteed to win. Little did he know, Josh's "good-bye" messages won him the game. Paul was furious when he found out because Josh's move was even more brilliant than Paul's game-playing.
BRAVO Josh !

that was AWESOME! i found this season so boring and predictable so having a surprise at the finale was fun. My husband and I were both like
"omg, mark voted Josh" "omg the tie breaker vote is cody" "WHATTTTTTTT JUST HAPPENED!!!" YAY!
Paul is such a slime ball, watching him squirm in that seat watching Joshs goodbye tapes was great. Sorry Paul

I was disgusted about Christmas voting for Paul. They were beginning to be an item by the end. She always came off as phony to me and way too confident that she was so smart. He has been promising she will be famous with quite a following and of course, she believes it. Just watched the show. Would not have watched it if Paul had won. Raven and Matt came off as mean and a couple made for each other. Neither "got" it.
