It was only 62F in the house (we have an old furnace) and had to put on heat today. DS asked me if it was all right and I was waiting for him to get cold to want to put it on. All is good as the house is nearly 70 now and I am not freezing any longer. I think our summer is done. It is raining again (thank goodness!) and all is good here. It's just kinda chilly. It's nothing that a polar fleece or sweater can't fix. Love it!

Nope. Although it was a little chilly yesterday morning, warms up quickly thought. We keep our house at 58 at night in the winter, so it has to get pretty chilly inside for us to turn the furnace one.

The house has to be below 57 for me to consider turning the heat on for a minute.
I hate the heater.
I like being a little cold.
It'll be January before it could possibly be an issue though.

Not yet. Northern Virginia here. We had about 2 weeks of gorgeous weather--low humidity and only about 80 degrees. But the humidity is back with a vengeance now. But we should be able to turn off the A/C in another week or 2.

It is still in the upper 80/lower 90s during the day. I did get a little chilly a few nights ago when the temps dipped into the mid 60s but I just put another blanket on the bed because I knew the day's high was going to be 90. I try to not run the heater and the cooling system in the same day

Not even close yet here. It's supposed to be low 90s this week. Though our nights are much cooler now, in the 60s. Our falls are very back and forth. 90's now then next week it could be in the 60s. It's maddening. It'll be December before the heat is turned on probably.

Nope. Too warm and humid here, I have the A/C going. Doesn't look I will need heat for the foreseeable furture. And when I do put it on, it's never above 60 degrees.

That would be a no. It'll be at least December before we need to turn the heater on...if we're lucky.

Nope, we turned the AC back on today. It's been cooler here lately about 80 degrees during the day and in the 50's at night. It's back to being hot this weekend. I think yesterday we got close to 90, today it was 85.

Our temps are still in the 90's. I probably won't have to sue the heater until mid to late October at the earliest.

It's a bit nippy in Yorkshire. It won't be long before the heating goes on methinks.

I don't even set the heat that high for most of the day during the winter! LOL I like my house cool. I have to turn it up when DH comes home, but crank it back down at night. It is probably in the high 50's in our bedroom at night during the winter, since it is upstairs in a really old house. Love it!

I will try just about everything to hold out until November 1st. Sometimes it's a challenge.

We don't put the heat on until December or January. Right now it gets down to the 60's late at night, but it's not enough to make the house cold. Heck, the A/C is still cycling on and off. I wish it would stop already! We have another warm up (in the 80's) coming next week.

Not yet, it's still warm enough during the day to warm the house and it doesn't get too cold at night yet.
I hate to be cold though. I have a small Dyson fan heater in my room and will happily use it to take the chill off when the house temp starts to drop below 66, which is the bottom of my comfort range.

We ran the heat at night for several nights right around the 1st of September. But for the past week it's been like summer.

Yup! I like the house to be 21/70 (and only turn it down a couple degrees at night) and the nights have been close to freezing so the furance has been on a quite a few days. Today is sunny and 21 outside so the house is heating up nicely and it the furance might not kick in overnight. It will be running until at May now.

Heck no. It has to be down below 50F for the heat to come on. Heck we'd have it on, even during the summer if it was just 67F degrees!! I would love to run it in the AMs to take the chill out, but it warms up pretty good during the day.
