First world problem I know. I wash, dry and fold all the clothes. DH still doesn't put his away. It drives me nuts.

I wash and dry. he folds his own and puts them away. He's particular about how his stuff is folded and where it's put, so it's on him to deal with it.
I would just designate a basket for your DH's clothes and consistently put them there, but if he wants them put away, he can do it. Maybe he's fine with living out of the laundry basket.

Yes. I fold and put all of our clothes into the same basket, so as I'm putting away my clothes I also put his away. It isn't that much more work and it gets done. Occasionally I have left his clothes on the bed instead of putting them away, and he just stacks them on top of the dresser. It's not important to him where they are, it is to me. So I put forth the little bit of effort.
I don't put my kids clothes away, and apparently, neither do they.

Pretty much, yes. I tend to iron quite a lot of stuff (shirts mostly) as I don't like using a tumble dryer too much so he'll take them upstairs on hangers and put them away but I do it for almost everything else he wears except those shirts.
He works incredibly long hours, I only work 2 days a week - I'm happy to do that for him bearing in mind what he does for us.

I wash all the clothes and put them in people's laundry baskets in their closets. I put my own away. Everyone else is on their own from there.
We are a two income family and everybody has to carry some of the load.

I wash, dry, fold everyone's laundry in our house. Then I put them in piles and the idea is for everyone to take their own stuff to their room and put it away. Sometimes I will take DH clothes, other times he does it himself. He works and I'm a SAHM, if that makes any difference to anyone.

I do all the household laundry when I'm home...DH helps with that a lot if I'm doing it in the evening. Everyone puts away their own clothes. If I'm not home everyone does their own laundry start to finish.

I wash, dry, and fold. He hangs and puts away. He has his own way of wanting get his things on hangers or in his drawers, so I leave that part for him to do.
He will wash, dry, fold, hang, and put away my clothes. I'm good with however he does it for me!

I wash, dry, fold and put away. Never occurred to me to have him put his own clothes away. I'm sure his drawers would like wild dogs put his clothes away if he did it.
That said, I really like to do laundry. Growing up I took care of laundry for 7 people starting around age 8. I think I liked the control I got for doing the job. I got to make rules like if you put your clothes in the laundry basket inside out, it will be washed, dried, and folded like that. Back then everyone put their own laundry away. I am the girl that folds and puts away after each load.
When I taught ds to do his own laundry, he came to me one day asking when he was going to find this as relaxing as I do. Lol

He does the landscaping (lawn, snow, etc), I do laundry and I include putting his clothes away. My girls put their own stuff away (or at least remove it from the laundry room).

I answered yes always, because he always sorts, washes and folds all the laundry, so I put his and mine away and the kids put their own away.
When he was in College he worked in a drycleaners. When we first started living together we had a few arguments about laundry, as he is much more particular and fussy than me about laundry it was decided that he would of it all. It has worked for us for 21 years

I do all of the laundry. I put away half. The boys are responsible for their own. DH puts his own clothes away about 40% of the time. I put away the rest. He has a way of folding his socks that he likes. I don't touch those.

I have only done his laundry one time in 15 yrs. He didn't like the way I did it so he has done it ever since.
My kids stsrted complaining when i asked them to help with laundry (socks, underwear) so now they get to do their own too. They are 8 & 10. I still help with folding/hanging sometimes but they do the rest. Of course i just spent all morning going through both of their walk in closets. It is not a perfect system but it works for us.

It's just the two of us and I pretty much do all the laundry from start to finish. Once in a while he'll put both of our clothes away and sometimes I'll ask him to do a particular load of laundry.

He's an adult, there is absolutely no way I'm doing that! I expect the kids to do it themselves, and I expect no less from an adult.

I only put away underwear since all the rest of his clothes go on the upper shelves in the closet and I'm too short to reach them😀

I wash, dry and fold. I'll hang the shirts up in the closet but everything else is on him. I pile his and the kids' on the bed while I put my own away.

Almost all of the clothes in my house are hung, not folded.
I hang all of DH's things as soon as the dryer stops otherwise they'd be wrinkled and I'd have to iron.
I usually do laundry when he's not here so he can't get to his own clothes before they wrinkle.

I have never done his laundry - ever.
I do all my own, all the bedding and towels, and did the kid's up until they were about 13, however.

We each do our own and split the difference in communal things like towels and sheets.

My husband works two jobs and I don't. I put his clothes away for him as a very small way of letting him know that I appreciate what he does for us. My grandson on the other hand...nope! That kid lives out of a laundry basket in his room .

typically if I've done the laundry, I set my BF's clothes on top of his dresser, and he puts them away. He has a particular way he folds things, so he does it, not me.

I usually hang up his shirts for him, because I hang up all the hanger clothes at once (and also because he does a lousy job of hanging his shirts and it makes me twitchy) but he puts away everything else of his. He also folds his own underwear and socks because I hate folding his.
