I went on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend and realized that I need to change the way that I store and organize my acrylic stamps and my sticker/rub on sheets (alphabet stickers as well as those that are decorative). What are your favorite ways to store these? I was looking on Pinterest and saw some people are putting the stamps in CD cases or in stamp storage envelopes but am not sure which is better? I have many single stamps and would like to be able to group them by theme to see them several at a time any suggestions?

You may have to try both out and see what works better for you. I use CD (and DVD) cases because I can store them on media shelving that I have and they're easy to transport for crops.

I still have my older stamps in CD cases, but when I started buying more stamp and die sets I switched over to storage pockets. The ones I have are made by TH, but I don't believe they are available anymore. Given the two systems, I prefer the storage pockets as they take up less space and your stamps are easily visible.

I use the stamp envelopes, very similar to how Jennifer McGuire stores hers. Look her up on YouTube, she goes into lots of detail. I also store my die cuts and embossing envelopes the same way. I like repeating the use of storage systems, it makes everything look neater, and I can easily keep the tools I need in stock and ready to use.

It makes it much easier to find what I'm looking for. For example, I have many sentiment stamps, and they are separated by Christmas, Holidays, Happy Birthday, Thank You and Misc. as those are the categories I use the most.

There is an organization thread on the Scrap board right now, you may get some help posting this question there.

I found some enevelooes on amazon that are the exact size of the larger stamp packages (7.25x 5.75). Not sure if that is ok or if I should go up a size?

I'm not sure, all I've used so far were the Avery Elle pockets. Some people buy different sizes to accommodate the backing the original stamp sets come in. My collection is small enough, and I am anal enough that I want mine to all be the same size. For me it makes it much easier to flip through and organize. I want all of my like stamps stored together, regardless of their original packaging. So that means I have some small stamp sets in larger pockets and larger ones broken up into 2 pockets. I really think you'd get a lot out of J McGuire's videos, she is specific as to how she stores specific brands and links to the products she uses.

I just shared what I use for my unmounted stamps. I use the EZ Mount Stamp Storage, notebook rings and if needed the EZ mount foam. When I unmount stamps if the foam stays on I use it. If it doesn't I use the EZ mount foam.
If the foam stays on and won't stick I use Aleene's Tack It Over with a foam brush.
Here's what I have.....I unmounted my stamps via the microwave. I put them in there for 10-12 seconds on high. When I take them out I just gently pull off the foam/rubber and I'm done. It went really quick.

I have several autumn leaves sets that I would probably want to keep together just for ease of organizing (I don't want to put a lot of effort into this project, lol). But I'm not sure they would fit into the large pockets? I watched the video and it was helpful. There are some other brands on amazon now but I am still not sure what size to get.

I use two sizes of the pockets, regular and large. Most sets fit into the regular size (7.25x5.75) For the taller stamp sets from MFT and the background stamps I use the larger pockets.
I originally used the CD cases. I found out that I prefer the pockets.
I use the AE brand and the MFT brand. I haven't tried the ones from Amazon.

I use the Avery Elle envelopes that are right about this size. They are perfect and fit in the container that Jennifer McGuire uses. With the CD cases, I couldn't see what I had as easily. I also put my smaller dies in these envelopes backed with magnetic vent covers.

I use CD cases, which are ok. I like the CD cases for most acrylic dies, but some just refuse to stick. I don't have many--I'm not a big stamper. But they all fit into a 6x6 Jetmaxx drawer, so I'm keeping them there.
I do have them organized by theme. I have a few PTI stamps that I kept together, but other than that, they are organized by baby, love, birthday, seasons, etc. I have A LOT of sentiment stamps for card making and those are stored by theme as well.

I stopped at the craft store today and they had the large Avery Elle pockets so I got those. I did have to separate some of the stamps from larger sets but it seems like it will work ok. I will probably cut a white piece of cardstock to fit into the pockets like in the video, but haven't done that yet.
