I just downloaded his app. It's simple. I also use the app Checkout 51, which sends you a check after you hit a certain amount. Each week there is a new list if items, if you buy them there is a monetary amount associated with it. You scan your receipt and redeem the offer. Every little bit helps. I most definitely have time to snap a pic and I do shop at Walmart. No brainer.

My 2nd receipt netted me 54 cents. I got an email about it but it's not showing up in my savings summary yet.

First one: 26 cents on a 153 dollar receipt.
Eta. Nothing on 85 dollar second receipt.
I guess I do not buy the right stuff.

Not only do I use the walmart app, but I use quite a few others. I probably save about $100 a year doing so. I guess I have no life....

Out of 4 receipts I got $1.18 so far. I shop at walmart a lot since it's the only store of that type around here so hopefully I'll have a decent balance by the time the holidays arrive.

Scorpeao... Give us a list of the ones to use please I use shopkicks, shopmium, checkout 51, Ibotta and receipt hog. I currently have over $25 in Target cards from Shopkicks and a $20 amazon card (or cash) from receipt hog. I'm saving these for Christmas presents. I also have about $5 in all the others, but you have to have a minimum to cash out. It's fun for me...like a game.

Thanks I just signed I land submitted my first receipt! Not only that, I found a discrepancy on my receipt. Some candies were mispriced. I asked her to take them both off. She removed one and added the other, which made a net effect of zero. I have to go back and get my $7 back!

I can't remember how long I've been doing the savings catcher maybe two weeks. I have $11.42 so far. I got anywhere from .05 to $3.49 on the receipts I have entered so far. I'm saving whatever I get for the holidays.

I don't shop at Wal-Mart very often but I do sometimes need household things and it's cheaper than elsewhere. I remembered reading about this app here and decided what the hell, I'll try it. I used coupons and saved $18 in the store...imagine my surprise when I ran the savings catcher and earned another $7.02 on a $169 bill. Waaaay easier than coupons or going to multiple stores!

I rarely shop Walmart but went in today and have downloaded the ap. I am interested to see my savings.
I am curious how it works. Does it check the sku number of each product, the name ect?
I would think each store calls the item slightly different names potentially if so.
In regards to the sku, those potentially are different too. A manufacturer likely has a standard sku, but in many cases can customize it as well. For example all health and beauty items may start with 732 at Target but not Walmart.
I also noticed when trying to price match, common items are slightly different from store to store. Likely to avoid a price match? An example is swaddler newborn diapers at target are 144 count mega pack, but Walmart may have a 136 count jumbo pack as their compare. The sku for the one sold at target wouldnt show up in the Walmart system. (I learned this when exchanging diaper gifts for our newborn with sensitive skin - unopened by the way).

I started using it a couple of weeks ago after seeing it posted here. Already have nearly $20 back from it, and that's only from 2 shopping trips! I will be saving it for Christmas also. Thanks for mentioning it.

Out of 4 receipts I have a little over $4 saved...on soda, candy and cookies (not usual items in my cart, but things we needed for a couple of parties). They found cheaper prices at Walgreens and Family Dollar.

I don't personally shop at Walmart, but my dad does and he would never bother with something like this, so I asked if I could have his receipts. I figure its worth a try for money towards Christmas gifts. I do most of my shopping at Target, I figure with the 5% redcard savings and cartwheel, I do pretty good. I'm to lazy to shop around anyways.. But hey, if I get even $10 back from my dad receipts it will buy a small gift. He buys quite a lot from there.

I am going to try it. it seems better than Target's STUPID cartwheel app!!!! I guess it's all personal choice. I love that app. I don't buy stuff specifically because it's on there, but when I finish my shopping, I scan all the items in my cart. I've saved over $140 since December on it. I buy a lot of Target brand and Archer Farms stuff, so that is a big part of it.

I get the idea of it, but I think it's such a waste of time to have to scan all the items in my cart and then they have to scan them too! Plus, there are times I browse in the store - I don't want to sit there and see if there's a cartwheel item for it.
