I just learned about this last week and entered my first receipt....got back 6.87!! It was super easy to use. You have to enter the receipt code 7 days within purchase and results are back within 72 hours. The credit is available immediately via e-gift card.

Yep. They beta tested it in DFW, so I've been using it since May. I've earned $60 back so far. I'm planning to save it for Christmas!

Thanks for the reminder. I have seen the commercials, but never remembered to download. I just did, and am waiting for the comparisons now.

I didn't realize DFW was a test market...I'm in Fort Worth and just heard about it. I really like how easy it is to use. Great idea to save the savings for Christmas!

Don't worry the savings weren't as good in the beginning. They match many more stores now than when it was in beta.

My husband is. We don't shop there very often, so he's only earned back $2 and change so far. But he says that you don't have to get the e-gift card right away, and can let the amount accumulate. I don't know for how long though. But it's easy enough to do and a couple bucks here and there will add up over the months.

Wow- Thanks! I shop at Walmart every week and have not heard of this. Scanning my first receipt!

I don't shop at Wal Mart, but I'm hoping other stores might start the same practice (like Target - not holding my breath though!).

Yep, I'm using it! I don't clip coupons, so this is very easy for me to do. I've made over $13 and change, with 2 large receipts waiting for comparison. I like it!

Do they only match nearby stores? The closest competing stores are about 40 miles from our Walmart.

Never mind-I decided to give it a try. Not many stores to scan. It says it can take up to 72 hours-I hope that it's not scanning on my phone the whole time. I'm not very confident it'll be worth it for me. It's very unlikely stores like family dollar will have the same items Walmart does and walgreen's and cvs are usually higher.

I saw this on tv. They showed them using their phone. Is there a way to do this on Walmart.com? I don't have a smart phone so it won't work for me on my phone I don't think.

I am! I've used it for 3 weeks now and have saved almost $7. It compares to a bunch of stores, a lot that we don't even have in this area.

I just located one of my receipts and entered it online. You can only enter 7 receipts per week and it keeps track for you. I'm glad it is not just a phone app!

I do, I am pretty good about price matching so I only have about $7 back so far but I think it's great. We have about 54 competitirs it checks against. I think some os those are duplicates tho.

I hope Asda introduce that over here - some of the supermarkets do an instant tally at he till and give you a 'voucher' for the difference off your next shop, but normally you can't use it until at least the next day and I am forever forgetting to apply the discount when I get to the til. Having something which accumulates like that is so much better!

I just saw something about it at the store yesterday, and this thread reminded me about it, so I went and entered my first receipt.
How can you see how many local stores they're comparing?

I've used it for about the past month and have gotten $5.07 back. I'm just going to let it accumulate and use the gift card at Christmas. I don't shop at Walmart every week, so it might not be worth more than a roll or two of wrapping paper.
