DH and I just bought some for our 21st wedding anniversary gits to each other, for next month. Just received them today. LOVE them! Mine is Qalo and DH's is Enso. Both sets purchased on Amazon. If you have some, please share!

My dh and I were talking about these yesterday while watching football. Apparently they are popular among professional athletes as well. Are they hard or soft? You will have to let us know how you like them! They look nice!

LOVE them!

Sorry for the gross question, but can your skin breathe under there? Did your finger sweat there at all? I have been thinking about this ring, but it's very hot and humid here most of the year, and I'm concerned it could get gross under there pretty quickly. Thanks!

Ive never heard if them. What are they for? Mostly for working out, sports, or a job where you want to wear a wedding ring, but it could be dangerous to wear a metal one. Maybe, even going to the beach. We workout 5 days a week, and don't like wearing our wedding rings, but would like to wear something, since sometimes, we go out afterwards, and didn't bring our rings with us. It's not a permanent replacement, just a substitute for those occasions.

We live in TX , so we are sweaty all the time, too. LOL My DH loves his. Mine is super narrow, so no issues there.

I have learned something new tonight. Not married, so I don't need any- but had no idea these existed.

DH has a Qalo for work (firefighter). It's black with the thin red line (FF memorial symbol). He doesn't wear it all the time, and more often than not he'll just take off his regular ring while on duty. I've never heard of buying a wedding ring just for working out!

I understand why people would need to wear a ring like this for a specific job. I don't understand why someone would need to wear one at the gym - just leave your wedding rings at home. The colors are cute, though

We are thinking about getting silicone rings. DH never had a wedding ring, but for whatever reason after 17 years he wants to start now. Glad to hear you like them. Thanks.

The colors are cute, though Just because we work out a lot, and want to wear them. We were both consistent ring wearers, before we started working out regularly, but haven't been able to wear them much over the last year and a half, and I feel naked without it, especially if I go out after class, and don't go back home to put it on. I feel happy wearing one. It was actually DH's idea.

My DS wears one and leaves his titanium ring at home. He wears it for the same reason you do (he works out daily).

I work out daily, including lifting weights, and just wear my regular ring. I don’t see the problem. What problem do you encounter when lifting that makes you not want to wear your ring?

I have about 6 Qalo rings. I lift weights every day and wearing my diamond bands was just not working. I only put my real rings on now when I am going out. I change my Qalo ring to match my mood. My favorite is my white one or my thinner 'silver' one. My husband is a FF and he wears a Thin Red Thin Qalo ring. SaveSaveSaveSave

Lifting an iron barbell and having it essentially pound into your fingers, swinging from the rig doing pull-ups, etc.... My weddings bands are platinum and they were starting to dent and bend. The colors are cute, though I feel naked without a wedding band on. I would never want to be without it and since I workout 5-6 days a week, that would be often. The silicone Qalo ring is perfect for me. SaveSaveSave

DH has one he wears full-time (doesn't wear it at home, but at work or any time we go out). He hated his metal band and generally found it annoying, so he switched to a silicone band a couple of years ago.
They do wear down. His started with edges on it, so it looked like a metal band with angles, but it turned into a smooth curved band really quickly. I'm sure the less you wear it, the less it happens. He washes his hands frequently, sometimes with pumice hand wash, and he works in a mechanical shop so ocassionally gets grease and oil on his hands. It also has seriously thinned out - my guess is it will tear in the next few months and he'll get a new one. Which is fine! People should just be aware how they wear down, if that is important.
One thing I will say, his metal band was a dark titanium, and he initially ordered a black band. It looked ridiculous, like wearing a gasket. He returned it and got a dark gray, and it looks much better. He also went for one that isn't as thick/wide. I want to say his was maybe 6 mm, while most men's were 8? That looked much nicer on him.
I was surprised to find after getting married (nearly 5 years ago...) that I care way less about rings than I thought I would. I was adamant before getting married that my husband wearing a ring was important to me. It's nice that he does, but I also just don't have strong feelings about it anymore. I find myself wearing my rings less since I started swimming - I'll leave them in my nightstand and then forget to put it on after getting ready. I can see the appeal of a silicone ring if wearing rings is really important to you but you don't want to stress about losing or damaging them.

Thanks for letting me know. That's why we got them. Mine were a whole $12 ea. I'd much rather wear that down, or tear it up, than my actual ring.

When lifting weights, the bars and bells can rub, or dent metal. I also do a lot of cardio, and my ring isn't a tight fit, so it could fly off my finger. The silicone is VERY lightweight, so you can barely even tell it's there.

I opened the thread to see what new piece of fitness equipment was out that I was not familiar with. Lol.
I guess I don't weighlift hard enough to need a rubbery ring. I've always just worn my "real" rings. I wear them to clean house. I've painted a room in them. I go in the ocean wearing them.
Maybe I just like to live dangerously. Haha!

I got a knot theory band and I love it. It's pink and totally me.
I do Karate 2x a week and always took off my rings. I felt naked without them, but also am horrible at remembering to put them back on. Now, I take them off and pop on my knot theory band. When I'm done, I switch back. If I forget, I'm still wearing something. (It's currently Tuesday and I'm still sporting the silicone band after karate on Saturday. LOL)
I don't have any issues with it getting weird under there. I actually have more issues with my finger getting irritated under my actual wedding set.

I bought one for dh a couple years ago and one for myself earlier this year. I love mine and I know dh loves his.
A lot of his coworkers wear them (cops).

I was all thinking this was some new fad piece of equipment that I must have. Dammit
I haven't worn a wedding ring for years. Gets caught on my gloves at work, and I hate having a wet finger under the ring when I wash my hands 856x per day. On days when I'm off work I just never think to put it on. I do sometimes wear costume jewelry rings.

I've been lifting heavier weights and noticed that the underside of my rings are getting scratched. I'm going to check out Amazon!

This makes me think about my "vacation ring". Its a $14.99 silver and cz infinity band I got at Target specifically for going on vacation so I didn't have to worry about losing it on the beach or getting stolen. DH thought I was being crazy until I explained that I just don't want to wear my precious jewelry on a beach in Mexico.
