I graduated high school in 1984, but think the 1970's was the decade with the best music. I mostly listen to music from that decade-not disco, though. I agree whole-heartedly

I wasn't a teen in the 70's but I wish I had been - love, love, love 70's music!

I don't think any one decade had the best music, they each had music that was great and not so great. I struggle to think of many bands from today that will be considered great in years to come!

1970s. I think the worst were the 90s.

Late 60's & 70's rock n roll. I enjoyed the 80's hair bands and when MTV actually played music videos too.

1770's. Not a mistype. Classical is my favorite and so many of the very greatest composed in that decade.

I am a child of the 80's so that decade is not only significant to me, it was totally awesome!
Forgot to add that I LOVED the tear jerker music of the 50's. That ranks up there with the best of them.

There is some good in every decade but have to agree with the late 60's and 70's. My teens and their friends actually like a lot 60's and 70's too-along with their current music (which some of it that I like too.)

I was a teen in the 80's and love a lot of music from that era, but I really love 1960's and 70's stuff. I'm a huge Beatles geek and I love everything from the British Invasion to Hendrix, etc.

For all of you hatin' on disco...how can you not belt out when you hear Donna Summer...the Queen of the Disco? Okay, I am hater of most things disco...but there are some songs that when they come on the radio I can't help but dance and sing at the top of my lungs. I was singing "you can ring my belllllll, ring my bell..." the other day at top volume along with the radio and my youngest just about fell of his chair on the floor he was laughing so hard. LOL
