The last two orders I placed were eligible for free shipping with $25 purchase but I was charged a fee on them. Had to contact Amazon both times to have it corrected. I know there used to be a section to change shipping speed to get the free shipping but it is no longer showing up for me.
So just a heads up to watch the shipping amounts on your orders if it should be free!

Did everything in your cart qualify for free shipping? Sometimes I will put something in my cart that looks like it is eligible for free shipping, but turns out not to be. It is confusing. It is usually something sold from a 3rd-party.

At the "review your order" screen, there should be an option to change the shipping speed. Sounds like while your orders qualify for free shipping, the method shipped is defaulting to 2 day shipping which has a charge. Make sure you change the shipping option to free shipping and double check that your total doesn't include a shipping charge before confirming your order.

Were you ordering from the app? (It absolutely will default to the cheapest option they can charge you for, so you will have to change it, and it is WAY harder to find that section in the app...)

I've noticed lately that we'll select items that say free shipping on the main item page, then when I go to my cart it buy now it adds shipping on- so shady! I've cancelled more than one order because of it.

No I was using safari browser on my iPad. That section is not there at all now cause when I clicked proceed to checkout the order was placed. No option to change address, payment option, shipping speed or anything.

Maybe someone else knows this with more certainty.

Doesn't it all have to come from the same place? Having Prime is so much easier and you can order a dozen $2.00 items from different places and it's still free.
