I just finished my annual re-viewing of The West Wing. Gosh I loved that show and every time I re-watch the series I'm just so sad that it's all over. I wanted it to continue on through another administration (or two) and see what all the Bartlett group did after they left office. Sappy I know.
So, what show was it for you?

I would have to go with The West Wing too. I just loved that show and every character on it. Time to re-watch (again)

My husband watches and rewatches that show constantly LOL....I really wish Harry's Law hadn't ended. It was only on for two seasons, but it was the second most wathed show on NBC. I loved that show.

24. It's the one show that I actually have to watch and not do anything else while watching. I usually knit, read, or surf the internet while I watch a show.

I did enjoy West Wing a lot, but I think the show I'd have to say I wish had never ended was Friends. Before that it was 30Something.

I can't name just one.
I like pure "escapism" TV, so here's the top three that come to mind(in no particular order):
Firefly Pushing Daisies Buffy, The Vampire Slayer

Loved the West Wing and would have loved to see it continue.
Also among my favs - Sopranos and Breaking Bad
DH and I love well written shows - there aren't enough of them out there right now.

Firefly. It ended way too soon . And Lost if it would have answered some of my lingering questions.

West Wing was the show that came to mind when I saw your thread title. It was so smart. The acting was spot on. The writing was fluid. The characters really drew in the audience.

I have to pick two as well - Early Edition and Quantum Leap. I think it may have a lot to do with the main characters.

Boston Legal, The Practice and of course Friday Night Lights, even though it really had nowhere else to go. I miss Coach Taylor and the gang.

I can't narrow it down to just one. I have two that I still miss: Lost and the X-files (but before Mulder left).
I was lost after Lost went off the air. It had been such a big part of my life for so long...my kids and I looked forward to it every week, we discussed it and all the different theories and mysteries. It was just a great show for my kids and I to talk about over dinner. They loved it and mourned it as much as I.
I was a huge X-Files fan...I still love David Duchovny and will watch him in just about anything he is in.

Agatha Christie's Poirot. It was so sad when it ended. I can't bring myself to watch the last episode again!

Yep, FNL for sure. I just finished season five yesterday and keep wanting to go watch more. I miss Tim Riggins, Landry and coach Taylor. Julie I can easily do without. Like others I wish West Wing and Firefly would go on and I really miss Bomb Girls. ETA...I somehow messed up Linda's quote and not sure how to fix it.
