I love it! What a transformation; you definitely do have GREAT vision, to be able to see what the rooms could become, from that 1980s time capsule. Do you ever take on projects for people? lol!! We have a 1986 master bath that we'd like to re-design- or at least update- someday, and I know we don't know enough to do it ourselves. Or can you recommend someone in the area that you work with, to get some ideas, at least? (Casa Grande) thanks! (eta: and why in the heck would someone who lives in Phoenix ever think they needed a SAUNA? lol!)

I had never heard the term "Arizona Room" so looked it up. An Arizona room is a semi-outdoor recreational room found frequently in homes in Arizona, based on similar concepts as the Florida room. The room is often a patio that has been covered and screened-in, creating an outdoor feeling while preventing excessive heat and keeping insects and animals out. The room generally borders the back yard of the house and is often accessed directly from the living room, kitchen or other common room of the home.
Around here this is often called a "sun room."

I love your before-after pics! I'm also in awe of what you've done and in only eight weeks? We are going on eight weeks for a complete kitchen gut/remodel and I'm hoping that it will be done before Christmas!

That was so satisfying to see those before and afters! My only complaint as a buyer would be to leave me those lions out front. For real. I want some lions. Haha someone actually bought the lions. I was shocked!

Now I'm wondering if we ever looked at one of your houses. We saw a lot of flipped houses. There was one in your general area that I loved and looks like it has similar touches to this one. Unfortunately, my husband didn't like that one. Do you replace windows? If so, do you do them on your own? If not, do you have someone you recommend? This is our only one in Maricopa County so unless you were shopping in Pinal, you didn't see mine. I have a wonderful glass guy I adore. I'll send you his info via PM.

(eta: and why in the heck would someone who lives in Phoenix ever think they needed a SAUNA? lol!) Yeah the sauna thing was nuts! And it was a dry sauna to boot. I'm like, save yourself the money and just go sit in your car with the A/C off and the windows up and get the same effect! If you send me some pics, I'd be happy to give you some suggestions. I have a tile guy in Coolidge and a handyman in Casa Grande and a granite guy who will go down there, if you're interested in any.

Nice! Didnt know you were an Arizonian! I don’t know of many homes that have an Arizona room nowadays but I love the idea. The kitchen is my favorite and also the yard, so cool!
My bil owns a company that flips houses and it’s always so fun to see the before and afters.
Great job!

That is AMAZING. I just love looking at before and afters. I am in awe of your talent. Also, what is an Arizona room? It's usually an addition on the home where someone has turned s patio into a room. It's more than a screened porch because it is mostly walls, not windows, and it's hot because it doesn't usually have a/c. It's much like a sunroom.

I'm geeking out a bit. I posted the pics on my insta and a host couple from one of the HGTV flip shows liked and commented on my pics from this house. WOW!!! that's great!! (and deservedly so!!) And thanks for saying you'd look at some pictures and make suggestions. If I can get some decent pics of the bathroom, I'll send them to you for your advice. Also, I will keep in mind that you have some contacts for that kind of stuff. For us, it's been kind of tough to find people who will drive 'all the way' to Casa Grande. People who work primarily in the valley don't seem to want to drive to CG, although it's not really all that far away! lol. It's also nice to have recommendations from people, so you know the company you're hiring is actually good... we've been burned by that a couple times, too-- I think the previous owners of our house used companies just because they were cheap. (of course, they wouldn't have cared, because they were moving away- but now we're stuck with the results of their shoddy work.)

LOVE it!! And I don't know how I missed your other posts! I love "house" posts! I kept wondering what an Arizona room was... I kept thinking, isn't that a sun room? HA.. I never thought different areas of the states would call it different..

Phoenix is on our short list ... in actuality it's first on my list but my Mom wants us closer to her in San Antonio. If we go to Phoenix, I'm going to message you!! dang, that's amazing vision right there and fantastic results. My hubby would cry for a kitchen like that - I'd be in the shower all day!
