I've been painting away, but haven't shared in a while. I have 3 shows coming up this next year! One will be a solo show, another I'll be with one other artist and then a third will be 4 artists. I need to get busy! lol. The Story of this painting is here. Easier to link you up then to add it all here. I love painting portraits! I was super inspired by a photo I saw of a girl and a license plate wall, that I used my niece to create my own scene. The license plates are all fake, I made them out of my head. lol. It's funny because the "Torrie" is for my sister, "Turtle" is for my brother and I just had the urge to put in "sunny" on one. Turns out, my neice's best friend's name is Sunni and she prays for her every day. Title idea? You guys are better at this than I am! It's 16 x 20 on arches art board, watercolor I don't think I shared this one. 11x14 on arches art board. (maybe bigger, I can't remember lol). Shiny brites in a hobnail bowl. I'll paint those ornaments all day (except the trees, that sucked) but that bowl kicked my butt!! It needs a name too :/ Any guesses what this is? 11x14 on arches watercolor paper 140 lb. I'm working on some "abstract realism" this took so much longer than I expected!!! This one has a title!! "Transpicuous" You've seen this one before!! But not like this. I had my husband take my photo of this huge painting so that my followers could get an idea of how big it is. Right after this it went up onthe wall. It's hanging about 8 feet off the ground! I didn't have anyplace big enough for it! lol It's 30x40" and the largest I've painted yet. If you'd like to follow me on facebook, my watercolor page is here. Thanks for looking!!

WOW! Your talent is simply mind-blowing, & your skill at creating realistic glass is arguably superior to a photograph. I look forward to seeing more of your work...

Any guesses what this is? I love the Christmas ornaments one-- it is absolutely gorgeous!! As far as the abstract one, I think it's either an ornament that has an indented center (because I had ornaments on the brain), or it's a close up of some sort of a cut-glass tumbler, like a rocks glass for cocktails. ?? was I close??

Those are amazing! LOVE the license plates so much!!! I have a piece of plywood with plates screwed to it much like that on my living room wall. I get a lot of comments on it from delivery people and others who come to the front door and see it when I open the door. Oh, and a big wreath of vintage Shiny brite ornaments is over the sideboard in my living room too right now. lol The "any guesses"?...center depression of an ornament? Great job!!

Gorgeous, the glass is just amazing, and the story of the first painting is so touching. What a blessing you are to that family! Thanks for sharing your talent.

Your paintings always blow me away. What a lovely gift you have created with your portrait. I’m sure it will be cherished more than you can ever imagine. I love your license plate one! Your bowl of ornaments looks so realistic that you could pick the bulbs right out of the painting. Your mystery one reminds me of some old ornaments that we had when I was a kid. You have such a gift!

Wow! They're all beautiful, but my favorite is the bowl of Shiny Brite ornaments! I have some of those same ornaments. I have always loved your particular talent for capturing glass in watercolor.
As for the mystery painting, I'm wondering if it's the top view of an ornament that has beveled indentations around the end? Or a bowl with beveled indentations?
For the license plates: "License to Smile"

You are so talented! I love the Vivid colors. I, too, think the mystery painting is the center of an ornament & love how shiny it is. Sweet Adventure Awaits is my title suggestion.
