I have my Dad and my grad student nephew. I am clueless on what to get my Dad and will probably get a gift card for my nephew. What do you have left. Jen

The only things I have left are a few gift cards. I plan to stop Monday after work and grab those.

With tomorrow being our family Hanukkah party, I sent DH with a list to get some gift cards for the adult kids. I asked for 3 Costco cards, 3 REI cards and 3 iTunes cards. Thought that was simple. He brought home 2 Costco, 1 Sportsman's Warehouse, 3 REI and no iTunes. He said he doesn't know what iTunes is (granted he probably doesn't but I was certain he could see them on the rack at the store). So now I have to go to Costco, though I think I'll send it online to ds, as none of the kids are Sportsman Warehouse type people. And I can pick up iTunes at the grocery store. Arghhh.

Just this book My Husband and I for my mum. I had it in my hand the other day but the jacket was all ripped when I turned it over.

My 18 year-old Godson - he lives in another state so I only see him a couple of times a year. I have no clue what to get him - does anyone have ideas on what to get an 18 year old boy?
Also, I have one thing for my friend, his mom, but it is small - I want to get her something else but not sure what.
The only other thing I have left is I need to get a gift for one of my employees - I have all the others but I'm a bit stumped on what to get her. I am thinking I will get her a winter scarf because she was just saying how she needs one.

stockings stuffers for our boys and gifts for 2 of the nephews whose names the boys picked this year. I have no clue what to get these guys, I don't know what they are "in" too other than playing sports and I'm sure they have everything they need where that is concerned. I'm sure we will figure something out.

All I have left is a gift card for dd#1's boyfriend (to a sporting goods store) and some last minute stocking stuffers like toothpaste, toothbrushes, cleansers, etc. I obviously have teens who find hygiene important

I was like a ninja this morning. I went to Macy's at 8:30, bought what I needed, and was back home in less than an hour. I only have a few stocking stuffer things to get. Now, on to the wrapping!

Stocking stuffers. I just did an inventory check on what I had already. Thought I was a lot more set in that area, but those would be some pretty sad stockings. Adding a son in law and a daughter in law and now a practically fiance, that's 3 more stockings!

I am thinking I will get her a winter scarf because she was just saying how she needs one. I've got two 19 year olds and a 17 year old. on their lists and things I've added a phone case with a backup battery Amazon Alexa a lovesac/beanbag clothes Amazon cards gas cards movie passes drones playstation/xbox things a laptop sleeve a car safety kit lottery tickets shaving sets Lego scrabble ants in the pants game (yes, the toddler version. they're nerds and I thought it would be fun for Christmas eve) their favorite gifts every year are nerf guns. I didn't realize it was a tradition but they've been hinting around about it and now that I think about it we haven't had a Christmas without an all out nerf war by lunch since they were toddlers. thankfully they usually end up giving them to friends kids as they visit throughout the year so we don't have dozens cluttering things up. it's hard to do technology stuff anymore, they don't pay for music and games are mostly downloaded. gift cards and cash always win. I would probably go for lottery tickets in a fun presentation.

StephDRebelThank you for the ideas - I actually got him a car safety kit last year and unfortunately he is about 50 miles from the nearest movie theater but all the others are great ideas - thank you - that helps a lot!

A pair of shoes for my youngest. He’s being picky, so I’m thinking he’s getting cash wrapped up in a shoe box!

I'm done. Thank goodness, because the malls are ridiculous now.
DH, on the other hand, still has to go out an get stocking stuffers for me.

I went to a little tourist town just outside of our city. It is nestled right in the foothills of the mountains. I couldn't find a place to park for 30 minutes because the place was packed. However, I found three gifts in a matter of 25 minutes. That was well worth the wait for parking.

Today I was wrapping gifts to take inventory and couldn't find a shirt I ordered for my mother. So I check online and see I apparently never completed the transaction and now the item is backordered. So I chose something else, more expensive of course! Then I began searching for something for her birthday online that could be delivered in time.
I see my son has fewer gifts than his brother and not the same value. Trying to decide between cash or a gift. He gave me very few things on his list but I dislike giving cash as a gift unless they ask for cash.
My son also asked me to get something for his ex girlfriend who is still a good friend and very impoverished. She works full time at a day care minimum wage and always having financial troubles. I am going to give her a walmart gift card and a few small items.
I think that will be it.

I want to order a couple things for dh, but I don't know what to buy. I already purchased the stuff on his list. Also, I have a gift card for a cousin who golfs and one more little thing tbd for my ds' girlfriend. I should do that all online tonight.

Food for Christmas dinner.
I'm sure I'll see something that I should get for one or the other boy but I will restrain myself.

I need to buy whatever my sister is going to ask me for. I won't see her for Christmas until January. I actually have bought several things for her that I think she will like, but I have yet to ask her for a list, and I do like to get her things she specifically asks for.

Good thread!
I have to get batteries for various gifts that I'm giving my kids.
And an SD card.
Probably tape for wrapping gifts with.
Cookie dough so we can make cookies for Santa. And us.

That was me, too, for so many years. Now that my kids are grown and I have some little grand babies, I have time to do it all ahead. I feel like I’m pretending to be someone else — an organized someone.
