Congratulations! I'm another one that loves NP's.
Dumb question though....are there different types/styles of scrubs for different jobs in a hospital? Or were you just speaking figuratively?

Congratulations! I'm another one that loves NP's. Dumb question though....are there different types/styles of scrubs for different jobs in a hospital? Or were you just speaking figuratively? Mostly speaking figuratively. Our facility also has designated colors for roles....RNs wear one color, ancillary departments wear a specific color, OR wears a color, MDs can wear their designated color but most don't. However, if an ER nurse earns his/her way thru the trauma program and deemed competent by the chief of trauma, he/she becomes a "Red shirt" trauma nurse. There are only about 40-50 of us between day and night shift and I've been proud to be a Red Shirt for several years. I'm definitely going to miss that life and that education. SaveSave

Good luck in your new endeavor.
I was an accountanting manager for 12 years. We moved our family to a different country to run our own business...a private school. I am now an ESL teacher and I LOVE it! I feel like my life has come full circle to do what I was meant to do. I could have never imagined how fulfilling a job could be.
I hope you have a wonderful “full circle” experience! Best of luck!
