What is the next step? Are you going to a gyn in order to discuss what to do about the ovary? Hoping you get resolution and relief from pain immediately. I've got a referral to a gynaecologist on Thursday. The pain is improving - just twinges today so far, although a pattern is emerging of the beginning of the day the pain being fairly minimal, then developing as the day progresses. I'm pretty sore by the evenings. It's improving, I think. Thank you for asking! SaveSave

The gynaecologist is sending me for an MRI scan within 2 weeks. I had some more blood taken and the results take 2 weeks to come through. Apparently it is not bleeding any more, although I'm not sure how she can know that. She didn't seem to have an answer for why it is still so painful, and what I can do about it when I react to ibuprofen, aspirin and codeine, and paracetamol (acetaminophen) doesn't help. I'm feeling a bit tearful now. I know it's only been 2 weeks but the pain makes everything drag on and on.
