I have an expensive medication that gets shipped from a "specialty" pharmacy. First of all, I go through hell every year trying to get it pre-authorized. Now, my insurance company is FORCING me to use THE pharmacy of their choice. I have been using the same pharmacy for over 10 years and love their service. It's not a monthly script- it's actually every 24 days and they always call to remind me it's time to refill and set up a shipping time. It just annoys me to no end that I have to change and start over. We have the exact same issue every year with DH's cancer meds. Fortunately we don't have to do the pre-authorization. But, the year they changed to yet another pharmacy in February I had a meltdown. The crazy thing about that is the 2nd pharmacy charged more!

f your school district is like ours, they will still get credit for holding school on that partial day and it won't have to counted as a snow day! as long as a school goes until after lunch it's counted as a full day- full $ and no make up Is there another family in the neighborhood that could take your kid to school with their kid/s? your DH is an adult with the same responsibilities in regard to your son - the extra minutes fumbling at the garage door is not what is making them late if you are too close for the bus - you are probably in walking distance there's always that! gina

For my DD’s school, you have to be more than a half mile away before you can take the bus. It might not be a big deal for a 5th grader, but I wouldn’t want a kindergartner to walk that far in the winter.

And I agree the dad needs to start being a grownup and getting up and out of the house on time.

Had a flight booked on American for Thursday before Easter returning on Easter. Just received an email that we were taken off our original 8 a.m. flight and put on a 6 a.m. flight. The airline was oh so helpful as airlines are these days...not. No explanation as to why. I seriously doubt they would have cancelled a flight on a holiday weekend. So they probably oversold it. This means leaving our house by 3 a.m. to drive to the Hartford airport. Then when we get to our destination airport, we still have to drive another hour to get where we're going. It's a long day, even leaving at 8 a.m. Airlines suck! Crap like this is the reason I now choose to vacation within a reasonable driving distance from my home. I refuse to waste my time and energy with the airlines

I’m not feeling well today and asked my dh to make some pasta for dinner. Simple pasta with Prego. You’d think that I asked him to make a five course French dinner with all the questions he’s got about boiling water and throwing jarred sauce in a pot
