I'm afraid if the more controversial peas don't find their way over here, this place will die off. The NSBR was great for funny threads and support, but to be honest, controversy was what kept the board alive.

As long as people go back to 2peas while it is still up, and peamail people with a link here, they'll come. I sent around 15 this afternoon, just based on people I had peamailed in the past for one reason or another.

I think our best bet is to figure out a way to have a post come up when you google Two peas closing or new NSBR board. As the days move on, it will be harder and harder to find us and new members will not be popping by because they are looking for a scrapbooking message board or help

I'm okay if there isn't so much of the controversy and political nastiness. I didn't really read and/or post on threads by certain Peas, and I don't think I'm the only one that was that way. So it won't be less interesting for me here if certain Peas don't make it.

The great thing about NSBR was that it was a community of women with lots of great opinions and knowledge on a variety of topics. There was always something worth reading and smart people with great perspectives adding to the mix. |

I think it could go either way. As freecharlie said, we're going to reach a point where we're not going to get any new members any more. Threads might get tired, nerves might get frazzled. I'm going to remain optimistic though and hope that this will work out.
