It seems trump was on a roll at his rally in PA. *“Trump takes credit for the Olympics. "Well, I'll tell you we did a great job in the Olympics. President Moon of South Korea said 'without Donald Trump olympics would have been a total failure. It's true. It's true. Might as well say it" *“Trump takes shots at "evil people" in Washington DC and the "fake" media "That Washington DC, we've got a lot of evil there but we're getting it out, step by step." *“Trump calls @chucktodd "a sleepy eyed son of a bitch." #stayclassy” * “Trump calls CNN "fake as hell," prompting very classy crowd to break out in chants of "CNN sucks!" * “Trump is angry with NBC because he gave them "great ratings" with the Celebrity Apprentice but they still cover him critically anyway” * “Trump announces that the slogan of his reelection campaign will be, "Keep American Great!" *”Trump admits immigration deal he offered Dems was made in bad faith. * “I offered a deal that was so good you can't refuse, right? Like the mob pictures, 'I'll give you a deal that's so good, you can't refuse.'.. I did it because I thought they were going to refuse & they did" * "Do you like me? [cheering] I like you too. I love you." *”Trump claims he canceled a meeting with president of Mexico after he asked Trump to publicly acknowledge that Mexico won't pay for it -- then immediately pivots to attacking Democrats for not wanting to spend American taxpayer dollars on it” He is nuttier than a fruitcake. I have watched tons of his speeches and yeah, this was the worst one ever. He real was a total nut job last night. I couldn't believe people would take little children to see him. He was so disrespectful. He was bullying and swearing, just what you want to teach your children? He has ZERO morals and is extremely unAmerican. I have never heard another president speak so badly about other Americans like he did. Oh, I've been to quite a few rallys and all have been energetic, but and this crowd was super rowdy and malicious last night. I can only describe it as cult like. SaveSaveSaveSaveI can’t stand to listen to trump. But I had the tv on a station that was broadcasting the rally and I had the TV on mute. He seemed to be flapping and waving his arms more than normal.

Mnuchin dismisses Trump’s ‘vulgarities’ in the context of campaign rallyBY JULIA MANCHESTER - 03/11/18 10:57 AM EDT EXCLUSIVE: Treasury Sec. Steve Mnuchin tells @chucktodd that President Trump's vulgarities and attacks on the press are less important than policy, and should be seen in the context of a "campaign rally" #MTP pic.twitter.com/EDckehvZxi
— Meet the Press (@meetthepress) March 11, 2018thehill.com/homenews/sunday-talk-shows/377827-mnuchin-dismisses-trumps-vulgarities-in-the-context-of-campaignHe is always excused by his people. He can do whatever he chooses and they will still excuse him! This is what I truly DO NOT GET. How he is excused for absolutely EVERYTHING. Obama was criticized for being photographed wearing f*ing flip flops on vacation. People believed he was the anti-Christ who was going to declare marshal law so he wouldn't have to leave the WH. His wife was raked over the coals because she wore sleeveless clothing. Yet now, we have a president who: *Admits to grabbing women by the p*ssy while laughing about it. *Made fun of a disabled man. *Is married to someone who was paid to pose nude for photos. *Has been married three times and has cheated on each of his wives. *Is being sued by a PORN STAR. And that's just the short list. I would sure love for some conservative who supports this icky man to sincerely say how they can do so, especially if they were part of the Obama hate that was spewed for 8 years. I can only imagine what people would have said about Obama if he had done even ONE stinking thing off that list. And I write this as someone who has always considered myself conservative leaning. I'm not a registered Republican, more a middle of the road independent, but I am 54 years old, and in all of the years I have been able to vote, I have voted much more often for Republicans than Democrats. In all of the elections I have been able to vote in beginning with Reagan's second term, I have only voted for a Democrat for president in two of those elections--Clinton's first term and Obama's second. So make of that what you will, I'm not a liberal. But I sure as hell don't know if I can ever vote Republican again after the shit show the last year has been, and not just because of Trump.

trump... “The Democrats continue to Obstruct the confirmation of hundreds of good and talented people who are needed to run our government...A record in U.S. history. State Department, Ambassadors and many others are being slow walked. Senate must approve NOW!” ”Good and talented people”? Um, the senate is currently controlled by Republicans. They could pass those approvals without any democrats. Only a simple majority is needed. I’m pretty sure you can’t even filibuster anymore. This just another version of liar liar pants on fire from the president

Just T : I could respond to your last post. I know of a few Trump supporters (STILL!!). They voted for him. They believed the Hillary crap and everything else that was fabricated to make them angry & fearful. Every day I'm wondering how they could still support that man, knowing that everything he's claimed has proven to be false (I'll get to your list in a second), but, their response (including DH!!!)?? "It's still better than Hillary," "He has people who are REALLY running everything..." But they DO admit that he should be out now & that he's nuts. My real gripe is with his "religious" advisors, believing that ALL of this is acceptable (somehow). WTF? ? I'd really, really hope that the young girls that he brutally raped and took advantage of in the early 1980's, would finally feel safe enough to come forward and begin a real lawsuit. There are witnesses and at least 2 girls that were 13 at the time. MAYBE if his supporters heard this testimony and had it backed up, they'd see a pattern of abuse and "grooming" from decades ago. He's a sick MFer, and I pray for the day that he's in jail AND for the day that he admits and pays for all of that sick abuse!!! Here's your list: Yet now, we have a president who: *Admits to grabbing women by the p*ssy while laughing about it. THEIR RESPONSE: We knew that going in. It's what he does. *Made fun of a disabled man. THEIR RESPONSE: It's his sense of humor. *Is married to someone who was paid to pose nude for photos. THEIR RESPONSE: Good for him. She's hot. *Has been married three times and has cheated on each of his wives. THEIR RESPONSE: We don't know if they cheated first and if he was the one to cheat, well... men do cheat sometimes! *Is being sued by a PORN STAR. THEIR RESPONSE: Enough already about this story! We don't have the facts. She might be looking to make more money.......

Chuck Todd is not my favorite journalist but Tapper is dead on, this ridiculous name calling drags down the office of the President.

Hmmm...so Hillary colluded with Russia to help her lose? To help him win?

The Hill...
“Election officials shred "alarming" proposal that would allow Trump to send Secret Service agents to polls hill.cm/ewlLTtY”
“Election officials raise concerns over bill that would let Trump send Secret Service to polls“
More than a dozen top election officials across the country are raising concerns about a provision in a Homeland Security Department reauthorization bill that would allow President Trump to dispatch Secret Service agents to polling places.
A letter signed by 19 bipartisan secretaries of state to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) demands the Senate leave out a proposal from final legislation that would allow Secret Service agents to accompany lawmakers to polling places when they vote.
"This is an alarming proposal which raises the possibility that armed federal agents will be patrolling neighborhood precincts and vote centers," reads a letter obtained by The Boston Globe.
"There is no discernible need for federal secret service agents to intrude, at the direction of the president, who may also be a candidate in that election, into thousands of citadels where democracy is enshrined," the letter continues.
One of the letter's signatories, Democratic Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin called the DHS proposal "worthy of a Third World country."
"This is worthy of a Third World country," said Galvin. "I'm not going to tolerate people showing up to our polling places. I would not want to have federal agents showing up in largely Hispanic areas."
"The potential for mischief here is enormous," he added.
A spokeswoman for the agency denied that the Secret Service agents would be used in a law enforcement capacity, stating that the "clarifying language" was a response to a 2016 incident in which poll workers stopped agents from accompanying a lawmaker to vote over concerns it violated federal law.
"The only time armed Secret Service personnel would be at a polling place would be to facilitate the visiting of one of our protectees while they voted," Secret Service spokeswoman Catherine Milhoan told the Globe.”
Just what country do these people live in? Secret Service at the polling places!!! Unbelievable.

WTH, is logic not being taught in schools anymore?

And that's just the short list. Please. We all know that if Barack and Michelle had done all those, the GOP Congress, being the nice folks they are, would order the White House burned down. Devin Nunes will issue a scathing memo, Tom Rice will sue, Marco Rubio will denounce them as having no class, Joe Wilson will scream YOU LIE!, and Mitch McConnell will call Ken Starr. Not necessarily in that order, of course.

He said he would do things through EO if necessary.. *** *** Parkland survivor: Trump 'owned' by NRA just like other politiciansBY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 03/11/18 08:48 PM EDT "Betsey DeVos basically paid for her position...I think she's not the right person for this," says Florida shooting survivor David Hogg after WH unveils plan to establish a school safety commission chaired by the US Education Secretary t.co/eTBqSkJnS0 pic.twitter.com/e4btWpov5Y
— CNN International (@cnni) March 12, 2018
Parkland, Fla., shooting survivor David Hogg criticized President Trump after the White House unveiled new gun proposals on Sunday, saying that Trump walking back his calls for certain gun measures shows that “he’s owned” by the National Rifle Association (NRA) just like other politicians.“Because of the NRA lobbying on Trump, I’m glad to see that he did take action, and he did seem to take steps in the right direction,” Hogg said Sunday on CNN “But then once he met with the NRA, he showed that he’s no better than all the other politicians because he’s owned by them too. And it just shows the inaction because of this lobbying organization that’s continued to terrorize our children and hurt our futures,” Hogg continued. Hogg appeared on CNN shortly after the White House unveiled proposals to enhance security in schools, including urging states to help arm school staff. The proposals did not call for raising the age limit on certain gun purchases as was originally reported, however. They also did not include universal background checks, which many gun-control advocates, including Hogg, have called for. Hogg, one of several survivors of the school shooting last month who has led the push for tougher legislation regarding guns, also ripped Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. The White House on Sunday said it would create a commission led by her, in order to identify ways to keep schools safe from instances of gun violence. “I think it’s a good step to make sure that we’re taking action, but I also think it’s important to realize that Betsy DeVos basically paid for her position. She doesn’t really have any experience in this area, she paid over $200 million to just to get this title and I think she's not the right person for this,” he said. thehill.com/homenews/administration/377878-parkland-survivor-trump-is-still-owned-by-the-nra5,000,000 NRA members rule the government!

"The potential for mischief here is enormous," he added. This could be a major problem in the inner cities or any areas that 'they' think there might be some of those unwanted ' brown' people! With our luck dt will send out Homeland Security. I have worked the polls............ for a lot of years. Even in very contentious races, I know the poll clerks I worked with were honorable.

The Hill.. “JUST IN: Trump White House won’t introduce gun legislation, calls on Congress and states to take up gun measures hill.cm/o2vEpzB” There’s your leader in action. What a putz. The problem is, with all the individual states creating a patchwork of various laws nothing will change. Without at the minimum a universal nationwide background check system that all agencies have to report the people who shouldn’t have guns to, there will still be far too many people slipping through the cracks.

And I still have yet to see where telling on people who make crazy claims or threats is going to stop this—if there is not a clear defined way to do background checks nor man power, how do they think they are going to be able to handle and address all the complaints where someone might be a threat? And if guns are not registered, and the person under this investigation says nope I have no weapons then what?

Did anyone see the interview on 60 Minutes with Betsy DeVos? I have been trying to link it but have been unsuccessful— She really doesn’t know what she’s talking about-and she lies. I missed most of it because I was cooking dinner when it was on. The snippets I did see she had that deer in the headlights look and kept repeating the same canned talking point over and over and not actually listening to or answering Leslie Stahl’s questions. There really should be a law passed that the people appointed to these cabinet positions should actually have a little working knowledge and experience about the agency they’re supposed to be overseeing. The fact that she and so many other completely incompetent people were appointed and then actually approved by the Senate is horrifying. The laundry list of what they’ve already done to dismantle those very agencies (or waste taxpayer money on personal frivolities) should be a wake up call to every American that it’s the down ballot elections that really matter more. ETA: If our education system goes down the crapper, every one of those senators who voted to approve her appointment should be held accountable when they come up for re-election. Every last one.

I saw 20/20. Her history, public schools are not good, she stated she has never been to a 'classified' poor public school to find out why there is a problem there. That was partially in response to the question, why Michigan public schools are still not doing will under DeVos' 'plans'. ""Detroit charter school system DeVos has been an advocate for the Detroit charter school system. Douglas N. Harris, professor of economics at Tulane University, wrote in a 2016 New York Times op-ed that DeVos was partly responsible for "what even charter advocates acknowledge is the biggest school reform disaster in the country". In the National Assessment of Educational Progress, Detroit had the lowest reading and mathematics scores "by far" over any city participating in the evaluation. According to Harris, she designed a system with no oversight in which schools that do poorly can continue to enroll students."" So...... She said that there are pockets of good schools in Michigan. Oh goodie!
Just think she will be leading the unnecessary 'blue ribbon committee' for school safety. (You know, Saturday, dt said he is tired of all the Blue Ribbons Committees in DC, so named one. Go figure.) Sunday he named DeVos to the new one!

Did anyone see the interview on 60 Minutes with Betsy DeVos? I have been trying to link it but have been unsuccessful— She really doesn’t know what she’s talking about-and she lies. DeVos struggles to answer basic questions about schools in her home stateBy Maegan Vazquez, CNN Updated 11:05 AM ET, Mon March 12, 2018 Washington (CNN)Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos stumbled her way through a tense interview on CBS's "60 Minutes" Sunday night, struggling to answer some basic questions about schools in her home state of Michigan and admitting that she does not "intentionally" visit underperforming schools. "60 Minutes" correspondent Lesley Stahl asked DeVos if in Michigan, students who can't afford to leave public schools are thriving, as the secretary cites. "Have the public schools in Michigan gotten better?" Stahl asked. "I don't know. Overall, I -- I can't say overall that they have all gotten better," DeVos said, noting that "there are certainly lots of pockets where the students are doing well." But Stahl notes that the secretary's "argument that if you take funds away that the schools will get better, is not working in Michigan where (she) had a huge impact and influence over the direction of the school system here." DeVos responded: "I hesitate to talk about all schools in general because schools are made up of individual students attending them." "Michigan schools need to do better. There is no doubt about it," she continued, admitting that she does not "intentionally (visit) schools that are underperforming." By Maegan Vazquez, CNN Updated 11:05 AM ET, Mon March 12, 2018 Washington (CNN)Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos stumbled her way through a tense interview on CBS's "60 Minutes" Sunday night, struggling to answer some basic questions about schools in her home state of Michigan and admitting that she does not "intentionally" visit underperforming schools. There is no doubt about it," she continued, admitting that she does not "intentionally (visit) schools that are underperforming." "Michigan schools need to do better. There is no doubt about it," she continued, admitting that she does not "intentionally (visit) schools that are underperforming."IIRC, she followed that with a "maybe I should". I would love it if Stahl had asked why we don't look at adopting what public schools in higher academic performing countries are doing instead of breaking up the existing system.
