It is one of the things being featured on David's show right now.
I know that we have had a few threads recently about electric pressure cookers, so though some people might be interested. I actually went ahead and bought one - my second electric pressure cooker.
Only $65 or $16.24 on easy pay - 4 payments.
I can't vouch for the overall quality of this particular model, but it can also be used as a slow cooker or a rice cooker. It also has a browning feature. A great price, if it works as well as my Cuisinart one.
I bought the Cobalt, because it matches my kitchenaid, but I love the Eggplant.

I saw that today too and am still debating on whether or not to order. I like that it can be a slow cooker as well as a pressure cooker. So many here have praised pressure cookers so I am tempted. Funny that I was thinking of the same colors. My Kitchenaid is Cobalt but I sure did like the purple.

They are cooking in it now.

I ordered! My color decision was made for me. Eggplant was gone. I probably would have ordered cobalt anyway since that is what matches my Kitchenaid. I have never used a pressure cooker. I like the idea of being able to put in frozen food and cook it quickly. I am TERRIBLE about remembering to take something out of the freezer.

There are plenty of us here who use and love electric pressure cookers, so you will get lots of help when/if you need it. It is very easy. I really love being able to cook dry beans without soaking them overnight. I also may never cook brisket another way - never dry and always tender.

I ordered one... You are the worst! I don't dare tell Mr. AB it was you that alerted me, he'd never let me go to Disneyworld with you. I bought those sunglasses this afternoon when I got home. Because, well, my running days are not over so I needed a celebratory prize. lol

I didn't think you could do any canning with this types of pressure cookers. I have pressure canners that I can in but they have some big differences.

Dang it, I may have to get one. I've been threatening to buy a pressure cooker for awhile now. I'm off to look at the link.

So those that use one, do you put frozen meat in it? When I did some searches about that all of the ones I saw said not to.

I downloaded the manual for this one and it has canning directions! It does say not to can meat or fish in it, only fruits and veggies. It goes to 12 psi, which is higher than my Cuisinart, which is 10 psi. You out can download the manual from the QVC page.

I didn't text you about it, only posted a thread about it here. So it doesn't count! So there.

Well, I did it. I was a little bummed about the color choices. There were three listed, but only one was available. I'm guessing they've sold a lot of these today. I got red (of the three, I wanted the orange 'spice' color).
I can't wait to try this out. I'm going to have to start searching for pressure cooker recipes on Pinterest.

LOL I had kept the QVC TSV email in my inbox and kept checking it all day without ordering. Then, elaine says that 4 colors were already sold out so I figured I better jump on it. LOL It's all her fault!!

I got red (of the three, I wanted the orange 'spice' color). I can't wait to try this out. I'm going to have to start searching for pressure cooker recipes on Pinterest. There were 8 colors available this morning with the green going right before I placed my order around 2 pm. They were/are all pretty! Then once David started tonight, the rest of the colors started selling out amazingly fast. I hope they pay him well. Hopefully the machine cooks as well as it looks. However, I've paid more than this for a single pot or pan, so will probably be happy with it.

It was something I had been considering and tried to take advantage of your enabling . DH has been traveling all month with more to go in October. I figured it would be a good time for a splurge. No biggie. Please post, though, and let us know what you think of this one,
