That damn bird and its friends lives at my house, too. I feel your pain. And we don’t have AC and so all summer with my window open it annoys me (can hear it clearly with closed window as well).

I have those birds, too. I swear one of them was awake at 2 am the other day. It's a lot better, though, since the landlord took out the tree closest to my window. (Note that I'm not sure WHY they took out the tree-- I didn't ask them to. LOL.)

Do you remember the episode of Friends where Phoebe thinks she has found the man of her dreams (detective) and a bird starts singing early outside the window one morning? Yeah, that could happen at 4:30. Too early.

We have one too. It has the most annoying “bee boop bee boop” song too. There is a kid’s book about the bee bee bird it reminds me of. I love birds, I love their singing most of the time, but 4 freaking thirty o clock is pretty damn early. I could appreciate their song much better at around 7 or 8 thankyouverymuch.

One of those just moved into my neighborhood a few weeks ago. It’s still dark outside, you stupid bird! Where are the nocturnal predators when you need them?

We have one that will go all night. It is especially loud if the moon is full.

We had one like that and it came back every spring. That thing would sing all night long from the holly tree in our yard. We finally got rid of the tree and thankfully the bird never came back. We do have another one that sings from the utility wires, but thankfully that one usually waits until 5:30AM to start.

Yeah, that could happen at 4:30. Too early. I think about this every single goddamn morning. Why do the birds have to starts singing so early? Why do I have tree bushes outside the front of my house? But why do the birds need to chirp so early??? I hate them in the morning.

I swear the robins start chirping two hours before sunrise here (which would be 3:30 in the summer!). No a/c so our window is open all summer.

I have a woodpecker but he doesn't start until later in the morning. He's a jerk though. His name is Pecker for short.

The Mockingbirds are annoying me here with their early bird noises!! If they don't wake me up it is the Sandhill Cranes flying over making that "trumpeting noise". OMG! have you ever heard a Sandhill Crane? How about one that is feeling frisky? or one that sees your cat or an alligator and wants to fight? LOUD! lol Sandhill cranes

The dog is starting to sound good compared to the fucking bird that has the most irritating, repetitive, monotone song ever. This morning it started at 4:15. I wanted to gnaw my own ears off.

Birds? No, that would be the PITA cat waking me up to be fed.
Couldn’t stop with the 3 I already had. No! Had to have a cat that was ‘mine.’ She uses me for food. And, clearly, DH is her person.

So many times I sit down and have a heart to heart talk with my cat (and now the stray and her baby that I'm feeding) about HOW THIS WORKS. "You let me pet you, act happy to see me, look cute or do tricks for photos (possibly make me a You tube phenom), keep rodents and such away (HA!), and purr while doing it.. In exchange I will feed you." They don't listen or respond. It is like they are ignoring me!!!

Not an early bird, but I have one that says "hamburger hamburger hamburger chips chips chips chips". Over and over and over. Always three hamburgers and four chips. And once I decided that's what it sounded like, I cannot unhear the words. Drives me nuts.

It's most likely a Mocking bird. The linked web page says "Although all adult male mockingbirds sing during the day, only a bachelor sings at night. The night music that's driving you crazy is a love song." Mockingbirds When I was a young newlywed I was talking to my father in law about hearing a bird sing all night. He insisted that I was hearing a frog. My father in law was a bully and I didn't want to argue but I knew it was a bird. I felt so vindicated when I found out male Mockingbirds will sing at night to impress a female.

Mother f***er those birds annoy the crap out of me!!!
We back onto a partial wooded/swampy area that is conservation owned. Our bedroom window is seriously only 25 feet from the property line. And at this time of year, I LOVE to sleep with the windows open, get that nice fresh breeze. But the effing birds wake us up at 4am!!!
I have started wearing ear plugs due to DH's snoring - so I may give the open windows a try now.
But I totally channel Phoebe's officer boyfriend and want to shoot the little effers.

I hear the ones at my house but not quite that early, thankfully. Our previous home had the master bedroom on the side of the property nearest the neighbors who kept chickens. That damn rooster did not know when sunrise was. He would crow way before daylight.

Fortunately the young man who hit him admitted talking on his phone. Thank you for honesty!
