Has anyone purchased the layered dies from Ali? I see some that are supposed to be the Birch Press dies, with the photos exactly the same, but was worried they might not line up correctly. link

leeny I haven’t bought any of the new ones like you linked but I did get some layered peony dies a while back and they line up perfectly.

These have just been released on AX. You're going to need to wait a little longer until they're done travelling to the first customers who ordered them to see some feedback appear on the item page itself (or for one of the Peas who ordered them to actually get them in the mail). It takes a while from China.

I looked at those (I really like the layered peony dies) -- but the new ones for $75.00 have 3 or 4 dies - the AX has only 2 dies. Does anyone understand the difference (I know that the AX dies are new and potentially no one has them as yet) - but maybe the change in the number of dies for any other layering might be known

They had one die that was smaller than the two others. People complained about it in the item rating section. Most vendors took away the layer die that was off and continued to sell the two other ones. You will find BP layered set copies that do have all three layered dies on AX. And then some, including Peony and Delfina, that are missing one. Hope this clears up the mystery.

Does anyone understand the difference (I know that the AX dies are new and potentially no one has them as yet) - but maybe the change in the number of dies for any other layering might be known I ordered several sets which had to be purchased one piece at a time. You must check the measurements to be sure all layers are the same size. Not all stores sell the same sized dies even though the images are the same. For the peony set I made my own missing layer by scanning the ones I had. Using those and a picture of the missing die I was able to make the missing layer with my cameo. It actually worked!, and I’m a cameo novice! I see now they are selling sets containing all 3 dies. I ordered one set to see how well it cut.

I got the peony set that matched up just fine. I just glued the 2 layers to a darker color and cut out s white piece and used the middle part that you would have thrown out and put it over top of the bottom color. That created the whole look. Now I have to trace out the bottom solid leaf to make the bottom layer. Now the dazzel die was my favorite. That's the one that had miss matched die. I'm not sure why someone could have copied that one right.

Omg! I hit the jackpot. Search stackable scrapbook dies. The dazzle die set is all the same size. There are others as well!

Seems like AX is putting out new dies more quickly than usual, not to mention that the prices seemed to have increased.

Yeah I can’t believe how fast they’re appearing now. Is there an easy way to tell whats new? Sometimes using search terms like cutting dies new works. And some stores do have a ‘new’ section where you can browse by date. There’s also the option to sort search results by new to old which seems to work better for me in the app rather than on the website.

I've also noticed that some of the descriptions are getting better and it is a bit easier to find things by searching for key words.

Ohh, thank you! Also make sure that you are paying for all three as some shops were selling them one die at a time.
