You guys are tempting me on a few of these dies. For example on this Spring Shower die, beside Payment, it shows that you can pay with PayPal. I would be ok using PayPal but do not want to give out a credit card number. In other words, what form of payment are you using on this site to pay for the dies? I've not purchased from Ali Express before and probably won't use it much. Thanks.

If the store you're purchasing from accepts Paypal payments, you can pay through Paypal although you'll be charged a little fee for doing this (0.6€ for me). Otherwise, you'll be paying AliExpress directly through their website. They cash in your payment and then pay the vendor (minus a fee for the sale they'll be pocketing). You don't actually pay each vendor personally, you pay through the platform (just like Etsy or Amazon third party vendors). It's pretty secure and safe (never had a problem but I also don't store my card details on there). AliExpress is owned (and originally developed and launched) by Alibaba, a big weight in online international commerce. AliExpress is the dropshipping counterpart to Alibaba's wholesale platform. Nothing more than that. You are not being led through checkout by each individual vendor. Those individual vendors are paying a commission to be allowed to sell on the AX marketplace. The whole system of the website, including payment, belongs to (and is secured by) AX. Hope this helps!

I have used both methods of payment (directly though AE and through PayPal) with no issues and I've probably placed 15 orders or so. The fee for me (US) using PayPal has been $.80 (ish).

Thank you Sleepingbooty and Nicolep for thorough answers. I may need a couple of the dies that are mentioned earlier in this thread. I'll check them out later this afternoon.

Jstblondie, thanks for posting the earlier links of some dies. Some of those earlier links are making me think that I may "need" some of those dies.

this die is really cool! darn it, I KNEW I shouldn't have started reading this thread... this one looks like each layer is a separate item that you need to purchase individually? so then you'd have to buy three separate items to get the entire layered look?? is that how the listing reads to anyone else?

crimsoncat05 yes I read the second listing you linked as individual dies listings and a price per die.

bluecrafterperson I always use my credit card on AliExpress and have never had any issues. The one time I had to open a dispute because the seller cancelled the order and wouldn’t tell me why, I got a response from the dispute resolution team in about 2 hours and the refund came through to my card within a couple of days.

Ok, all of you are enablers! Have a cart full of dies now. I love the Spring Shower dies. I am getting the Gemini machine from DH so now I will have a lot of dies to play with. Yeah!

Anniefb, thanks for posting this. I am going to give AliExpress a try later this evening.
