I voted for wedding cake. I don't eat cheesecake.

I don't like cake so I voted for cheesecake. We served pie at our wedding. But honestly, at weddings, I don't think I've ever had dessert. I'm always on the dance floor by the time it is served.

@jumperhot - also make sure to tell the bride that fondant is evil & disgusting. I admit that I am indifferent to plain cheesecake; the main reason I voted for it is because I associate wedding cakes with fondant. The kind of cheesecake I prefer is chocolate chip, chocolate, or lemon. Or vanilla. I think I could/would eat the one you mentioned - regular old NY cheesecake with raspberry sauce. But if it's not chocolate sauce, it has to be raspberry. I'm not wasting the sugar on blueberry or strawberry. I don’t think I have ever had fondant. I think we are in the clear since the wedding cakes she has shown me are clearly buttercream. I am craving white cake with butter cream icing and raspberry filling. I will sip on my water instead. Jen Well then I might lean toward the cake vs the cheesecake, if you can only serve one. I'm Eastern European; we always have multiple desserts available at weddings. So truly, the concept of choosing is foreign to me.
