Not from Amazon, but I'm watching to see if Google matches the price on their Home Mini. I may get a few more. I have to decide how into this home automation thing I'm willing to get. I just like it can be playing the same audio on speakers throughout the house when I'm cleaning etc. I have not been able to figure out how the heck to do this. I would like to plug my Mini in in another room and just listen in that room. Is that possible or do you have to have the big Google Home playing, too?

I'm looking for new over the ear BT headphones and a Brother Scan N Cut. I've declared I won't have any craft spending in July, so I told DH he had to buy the Scan N Cut for me. That’s awesome!

I’m thinking about getting a Kindle Paperweight. I had a Kindle a long time ago, but the last several years I’ve just been using the Kindle app on my phone and IPad. It’s inconvienient when I want to read but the battery on my phone and/or iPad is running low. I just can’t decide if I really need another device. auntkelly I love, love, love my Kindle Paperwhite!!! I didn't want a tablet, I just wanted to be able to read easily - it's lightweight, small, fits in my purse, and I love it! I highly recommend it. Go for it!!! I didn't like reading the Kindle app on my iPad because it was too heavy, and the phone is too small.

There was a thread few months back about clothes steamers. If anyone has a suggestion I was hoping maybe I could snag a prime day deal!

Soooo, I just ordered an air fryer on a pre-Prime Day deal for $65. I’m hoping that I like it. My husband bought an air fryer a few months ago - it's pretty great. He makes great chicken wings in it. I've used it to make homemade egg rolls and wontons. My daughter uses it mainly to make hash brown patties like the ones you get at McDonalds.

I'll have to do more research on how to set it up. Do you have to tell the big Google Home to play it on the Mini or will the Mini accept the command? I can probably just Google this, but I like talking to someone who has one. I appreciate it.

Well now I want an Echo Show. Above and beyond the fact it’s a great price is the fact that it has what might be some of the funniest Questions and Answers I’ve read in a long time. Made my day:
Question: Can it be used to monitor ghost/spirits in a haunted house?
Answer: Yes, however the ghost has to say Alexa first and might order things like air freshener (The living can smell pretty bad) By Lisa G. on July 22, 2017
Just hope your ghost doesnt order a bunch of junk food with your Alexa as apparently happened to me. Luckily the ghost ordered things my daughters like to eat so nothing went to waste. By Amazon Customer on August 20, 2017
It absolutely does. My friend's Echo captured video of a man in his bedroom and his wife said she was home alone all day. By Bob on November 4, 2017
Yes, as long as you have bootooth enabled. By Gregg G.… on December 11, 2017
Yes, but first you have to sacrifice a google home By Amazon Customer on October 21, 2017

For example, if you have a mini in your bathroom and the home (or even another mini) in your kitchen, you could say either "Play on bathroom" or you could have set up a group and say "Play on downstairs" and it would play on both.

Okay, another dumb question ~ I'm just full of them, aren't I?? Re: The Kindle Unlimited for 3 months for 99 cents. So I can download or whatever a bunch of books to take on vacation. Once you get them on your Kindle, do they stay there forever as long as you have the room? if you download them all, and then turn your kindle into airplane mode, they will stay forever until you go back off airplane mode. at that time, if you've let your unlimited membership lapse, they will be removed. but if you are still an unlimited member, they will stay. you can have up to 10 unlimited books at a time, when you want to download more, you'll have to digitally "return" one of your other ones.
i used to subscribe to unlimited for 1 month, download 10 good, long books just before it expired, and put kindle in airplane mode. cancelled unlimited. then it would take me 2-3 months to read all of those, and when i was done I'd re-subscribe to unlimited and do it again.

Very frustrated here. I keep getting the lightning deal on the smart plugs that I could control with Alexa and it shows the lightning price in my cart, but when I go to pay, it keeps jumping up to the non-lightning price and I end up having to cancel the order, or pay full-price.
This has happened 4 different times with 2 different smart-plug products. 31.55 in my cart for example, but then when I click my payment choices, it jumps up to $49.99.
Grrrrr

Not Amazon but Target had a $20 off $50 that my son texted me about late last night (he's on the west coast and I was asleep).
I tried to use it today and it is no longer valid.
He did some stacking and ordered a 65 inch TV for $400 total inc tax.
He's going over to pick it up soon and hopes it will be valid. Says people on the east coast are having success with it.

Hoping for a great price on a Kindle Paperwhite ! Maybe a Bose Bluetooth Speaker too. QUESTION - I don’t have PRIME but I have a friend who does and will order for me. Will the Prime discounted prices be listed for all to see ? Go for it! I just got one using my DS's account.

An amazon echo. We got 3 dots for Christmas. I’d like a bigger Echo for the kitchen and move the dot into the bedroom. I bought an Echo Show in February and I love it. It has replaced my alarm clock next to my bed. The sound is also amazing on it. I'm buying some sort of an Echo today and am leaning toward the Show. After reading up on it I'm thinking I might get a second one for my daughter to give to her as a gift when she leaves next year. She's going to be a Navy nurse and will live far from us. I thought this might be a fun gadget for us to use to keep in touch with each other. I don't know anyone who has one of these, so I thought I'd ask you if this would be good for that. eta - I just read a bunch of articles about it. I bought two. I am going to save it to give to her when she graduates from college. That's just a couple months before she'll leave for Officer Development School and then onto a hospital.

Not sure yet but dh is watching the deals and so far is thoroughly confused. He saw a deal for Prime Now and asked me about it it went something like this: dh: hey, what's Prime Now? me: it's just for those who live close to a distribution center, we can't use it dh: what if we picked it up from whole foods? me: no idea dh: ok there was a deal for Prime Pantry I saw, what's that? me: pantry stuff, household stuff, etc, but it usually has a shipping fee dh: so it's that giant box we get every month? me: no, that's subscribe and save dh: but it's pantry stuff me: yes but it's different dh: how's it different me: it just is dh: nevermind Poor guy, I feel for him, it is pretty confusing.
