In the past I’ve sent to every person in the list. This year I took a second job and got busy so probably 75% of the list received them. I sent to the international peas first as I had stamps for those left over from last year. I wasn’t sure when the Canadians would get them with the strike. Maybe later? I don’t know.
It’s fun to get all the different styles. I really liked the one that came in the homemade envelope from a magazine page. A few years back a pea sent a crocheted snowflake in a handwritten calligraphy envelope. I kept the envelope too and use it as a bookmark.
Thank you to @leowife for organizing

It’s really ok, I seriously selfishly enjoy making and sending my cards almost as much as I like receiving cards. No one is keeping a list of who didn’t send cards Do not let this bother you!! Exactly!! We are all doing this for fun and to spread joy to fellow peas. I have received at least 50+ cards and I love each one, but I also loved sending my cards out. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your holiday season. <3 me, too! I love making cards as a way to get into the holiday spirit, but I didn't get all of them made. And, I wasn't focused on how many cards I was receiving, at ALL. (It was just fun to see mail besides bills in my mailbox!) I haven't read much of this thread yet, but if someone was "complaining" about international Peas (?) not sending cards to US Peas, I received cards from Canada, the UK, Australia, and Norway... so 'not sending' isn't true. ETA: s I posted in above thread it was more of a PSA, for those that abuse the Card Swap. It'sucks being the organizer sometimes as these threads make some upset but it's also what goes along with being the organizer. What's the saying, "Don't shoot the messanger". Since posting this I have gotten 48 emails saying thank you for posting this. Like I said it was not directed at anyone directly but more as a PSA. The swap is about giving and receiving holiday joy, I hope you consider joining again next year. ^^^ yeah, that-- What I bolded. So if anyone is 'keeping score' then you're not exactly giving or receiving holiday JOY, are you? I for one, always overextend myself at the holidays, so I know how it can be. And I do NOT begrudge sending anyone a card even if they don't send me one back. In the same fashion, I did NOT get to make/send everyone a card, and I hope no one is 'keeping score' on me, if they sent me one but I didn't send one back. That's rotten, in my opinion, to keep score to that extent. We pare down our personal / family list after a couple years if people don't send cards to us, but this community is NOT LIKE that. At least not in my opinion, it shouldn't be. Anyone who wants to receive cards should be able to, with NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

I send out my cards in order of location. Internationals, Alaska, Hawaii first, then the coasts/northeast/northwest, then southwest/southeast and finally flyover country. If you're in the midwest you're last since you're the closest. This was exactly what I did as well. I sent to everyone on the list and mailed in order of far to near. I think when I last counted I had received 60 cards and I enjoyed each and every one of them!

I counted last night and I received 68 cards. Felt like much more! I send to everyone so that might prompt more sent back to me.
Even if I didn’t receive any I’d still participate. It gets me in the holiday spirit, I use stash, and I flex my creativity as well as copying skills.

Here’s a few snaps of how I display the cards I receive. These were taken a few days before Christmas, I’ve received about a dozen more since. (Excuse the patchwork paint and water stains, we’re getting ready to redecorate! )

I had a stack of cards in my mailbox today, so maybe the ones they are thinking didn’t send them just mailed them late?
I sent cards out to everyone who sent me one, minus those I got today. I mailed 100, that was all I could afford to do. If someone wants to complain about that, oh well. We all do what we can. I love all of the cards I got, I don’t keep lists and don’t know who didn’t send one, nor do I care. Mine are all displayed in my home and will be for at least a month. The kids love looking at them all!

Mine will hopefully all go out by Tuesday! It is much much later than I ever wanted them to go out but I have enjoyed every second of making them and getting them ready as well as receiving every single card from each of you! ♥ I got your card today, thank you so much!!! That card is awesome. I bought white & zinc ceramic houses and added it to them. When it came my kids said that’s not a card. That’s a decoration

This is the first year I have participated. I enjoyed it so much that I will sign up again next year! I haven’t counted how many cards I received - it doesn’t matter to me. I mailed to everyone on the list because I wanted to and I could. It was fun to receive a Christmas card every day. Thanks to all that participated!

I didn't sign up this year as I knew I wouldn't have time. I'm going to start making cards in my free time starting in January so I'm ready for next year.

Ok yall this is freaking ridiculous. I just banned 2 Pea's from the card swap for life. Yes I can and it doesn't matter is they change their Pea names. I have their address from the list. They know damn well who they are. Look when a third of those who signed up for the swap have a legitimate concern I posted about it. If you have a problem with it, deal with it. Yelling at me, demanding names or else is not a good thing. Telling me I'm going to do this and going to post this, yep not going to happen. Show up at my house, be that kind of stupid. The spirit of the swap was just that to swap to as many Peas as you can. The post was to those who abuse it and come on we all know there are some that do. It was not directed at those who had a family emergency, or sent to as many as they could. But when the swap is for close to 130 and you send to 20, well that is taking advantage. Everyone knows the swap is big, the sign ups end 2 months before Christmas so it's no surprise. PLAN AHEAD, stop yelling at me, stop demanding and I dare the next Pea to send me a threating email. If you are taking issue with this, that's on you. Sorry if I sound mean but Damn ladies, grow up. I will not be posting anymore on this but will be looking at the posts, if you become nastsy/ hateful I am removing you from the swap. Don't like it start a new swap. Some have stepped over that line and I don't care who you are, that is unacceptable. Damn that’s just wrong. No way in pea hell do you deserve any kind of hateful messages. So uncool and not in the Christmas spirit. I totally appreciate the work you put into the swap. Thank you. Seriously. Even if I failed at my end of the deal, it’s an awesome swap. 😉

I almost didn't participate this year as I had another big project I had to get done before Christmas. I couldn't let it go this year. I consider this swap a gift to myself all month long. I came up with a simple card design that I could send to everyone on the list and get done in time. I even got them sent out early. I have received 82 cards to date (home made ones, store bought ones and some post cards too) from I don't know where as I don't check the envelopes. I might have gotten international ones, I might not have. I don't participate to keep score, I participate to put a small little gift in someone else's mail box. I'm really sorry to see that this absolutely wonderful holiday tradition has degraded to a mean spirited competition. I will be participating again and can't wait for all the little presents in my mail box next year.
Also, I don't know if anyone knows, but could the international Peas send their cards to a Pea in the states for us to mail using US postage.....I'm sure there is some rule against it, but I would think it would be cheaper to send a package of unstamped cards to the US with mone for in states postage than it would be to send the cards individually. Just a thought.
ETA: thank you @leowife for making this swap possible and I am so sorry you are having to put up with this nonsense.

I just want to say thank you to all who made this swap a reality. This was my first year and I loved being a part of it. It is so much fun getting cards from everyone, some with personal messages. Really made my Christmas brighter. Thanks to all!
