i don't think mine are spoiled but:-they get their dinner warmed for 25 seconds in the microwave. not 20, not 30, but 25 seconds. perfect warmth for them -they get warm towel face wipes after dinner -their bath towels have their names embroidered on them -they each have an Anywhere Chair from Pottery Barn if they don't feel like lounging in their beds. that makes 4 dogs beds in the den, two in the bedroom, and one in the dining room. -their grooming costs more than our hair cuts I didn't think mine was spoiled either, but his breeder and then some of our other dog friends kept telling me he was/is so I had to concede

I love all of you!!!!
My boy drinks straight from the bottle when it comes to water. He will steal mine if he is sitting in my chair with me. His food is heated for exactly 14 seconds. He has his bedtime routine. He goes out to potty and then has to have 3 rawr rawrs (treats) and then he will happily go to bed. He has his own car seat. He says please and thank you and is never more than a foot away from me at anytime.

I homecook my two puppies food. They only get homemade dog treats. They have a variety of homemade dog sweaters, coats, jackets, and hats. They have a ceramic fountain to drink from so they water is always aerated and fresh. There are always welcome and warm laps to crawl into. If they are "too tired" to walk to bed, they give us the look and get carried to the human bed for the night, because there is no way they will sleep in the still new beds bought for them over ten years ago! Spoiled. No according to them, they are just get their just dues! LOL And I wouldn't really have it any other way!

Bing bing bing. We have the winner It's pretty embarrassing, I can't believe I told you guys the truth
He also gets feed raw food, gets a bully stick a day and has nightly lap time with me. Where yes, he literally lays his 53 lb body in my lap while I watch TV.
We could be best friends because I sense I would receive no judgment for what i let my girl get away with. She does not have a chiropractor but she has me and she gets a lengthy massage every evening and if I try to skip it, let's say her evil eye is strong. She also likes cold water. She will hit her bowl sometimes if she wants new water. It isn't like her water is old, it simply isn't cold . There is more... the things we do for our furry family members. The love they give in return makes it all worth it. On a sidenote, I think I need to get a ceramic fountain that katiekaty mentioned. Bella would love it.

Yep, mine is that spoiled. Mine girl will go stand by the bathtub and wait for us to go turn the faucet on so she can have running water, instead of drinking out of her bowl. My cat does this. He prefers the bathtub but will deign to drink from the sink faucet occasionally.

LOL at the cardboard box on the couch. We have 3 cardboard boxes around the house for cats to go in and out of, and anytime something is delivered in a box, the box has to linger for a few days for cat use. Every room in the house has at least one piece of cat furniture, except for one bathroom, which has litter boxes instead. We use the air conditioning maybe one day each summer, because the cats like to have the windows open.

I just filled a dixie cup with water and held it while my pup slurped down the contents. Why should she use the full water bowl downstairs if the humans in her life are willing to answer her every need. She has us very well trained. LOLOL my cat has his own water cup in the bathroom. Mine too

Before we lost our horses, they had a chiropractor who came out once a month, wouldn’t eat their grain unless it had the garlic supplement in it, and had to have a peppermint after. For our dogs- my husband just bought an older SUV that he will use to take the girls on outings, to training and competitions. He refers to it as “the girls” truck. Treats are appropriately placed in different compartments and they know and expect when to get them (for getting in the vehicle, for sitting during their trip, etc). We love our fur kids!!!

My Dad and his wife order special hamburgers when they grab food out for their dogs. So, if they stop by McDs for a Big Mac, they bring the pups home a cheeseburger with ketchup only. *cough cough* what's so wrong with this? Asking for a friend.... LOL. We have a friend whose dog is so spoiled it won’t eat any kind of dog food. Not wet. Not dry. Not the little burger patty things. Friend feeds her dog the same stuff she’s eating, and if she’s going to a restaurant for dinner she gets an order of something to go for her dog. Her dog should weigh about 10-12 lbs max and I’d guess it weighs at least 20. ETA: My 5 lb dog wears homemade sweaters the wintertime, and a little fleece coat when she goes outside to go potty. She has to sit in my lap when I’m working in the office which makes it difficult to type because she likes to drape her head over my arm.

Jessie who will soon be 3 years old has been eating a raw foods diet since he arrived in our home at 9 weeks of age. We make it for him by using a powder base from felineinstincts.com and I buy the meat needed for it from Whole Foods-organic ground chicken. He also drinks only bottled water. But honestly we all drink only bottled water in this house. We have well water and it is nasty.
He loves his two fleece beds that we got for him from thesiamesestore.com that is part of The Siamese Rescue Center of Virginia. They are polar fleece beds that are so wonderful, made by volunteers they are loved by these cats and are completely washable. Jessie loves his-he has one for upstairs and one for downstairs where he spends his time. He gets cold in the winter and this way he keeps warm.
He's an only cat so he rules the household. What he wants, he gets. Playtime, snuggle time, whatever his little heart desires.

We bought my SUV, our RV and our single level house because of our dogs. The car was too small, the RV is for dog shows and to take the dogs camping with us and the single level house was because our first Samoyed had hip dysplasia.

That's being LOVED; not spoiled!!
We have a black cat that is the love of my life and DH's! This cat demands the love and attention of the room. He greets people at the door. He'll greet you when you wake up! He'll gently tap you on the lap or arm to tell you that he needs your FULL attention for lap time.
When DH and I prepare to go to bed, he follows us (esp DH) into the bathroom, just watching. He stares as we wash our faces, brush our teeth, etc........ He stays behind once we hop in bed, and the auto-nightlight stays on. I swear he's reinacting our actions, pretending he's brushing his teeth!!!! Then he'll come to bed with us, snuggle with DH and when he's done he'll come to my side of the bed, next to me, head on pillow, curling up next to me. When he's cold he places his 4 peds on me for warmth. He holds hands and rumbles. He's a strange little guy!!! He'll lie there and sleep for 6 hours or more, but he HAS to be touching me!!!!!
When we eat dinner he has his own seat and dish. I know....... He just likes to watch what we're eating! He gets mad when we eat in the tv room instead (as though we don't have proper manners!). He loves capicola, chicken, steak and anything white! He can tolerate human food but he throws up his cat food. He's a weird little baby!!!

We used to make an extra stop at McDonald's after going out just to get Louis a cheeseburger. That was before he had to go grain-free. Now I just make him hamburger patties once in a while and sprinkle cheese on them. But I do cook him a chicken breast just about every night and he eats that with this dog food.

Can I join this club? I'll start with my dashound. He wakes with the alarm clock and patiently waits on me to pick him up and sit him on the floor. It doesn't matter that he has stairs that work perfectly to get on and off the bed. If its below 70 degrees outside, he lifts his leg and pees off the porch, his paws simply can't touch the dewy grass.
When it's time for me to leave for work, I pick him up and carry him to the car. I drive maybe a block down the road, get him out of the car and carry him into my mom's house, to her bed and help him settle in under the covers. In the afternoon one of us will stop and pick him up, even though he's plenty capable of walking to and from my house to hers.
In the winter he wants fully dressed in a sweater and coat, plus fuzzy socks with grips on the bottom. He'll bark like mad if I open the door without getting him dressed. All this to go from house to "warmed" car. He will let mom know when he's warm enough to get undressed.
Now, all the ways she spoils him is a whole other post. Let's just say, I'm not sure who's babysitting who, but they sure are good for each other.

I sleep on a portable mattress on the floor of the living room because the chiweenie I inherited from my dad needs to sleep by my head, and dh (reasonably) banned her from out bed since she has to pee during the night and has been known to do so on the bed. Also, my female pittie is a hot mess and would freak out if I was in the other room, behind closed doors, for seven hours.

- Our bully-girl (Harley) rides to school every morning to drop the youngest daughter off. Harley barks and whines when she can't get out and go to school ,too. - Harley sleeps in the bed with my husband because the floor is too cold in the winter. - Harley has her own loveseat in the man-cave covered with a fleece blanket so she stays warm. - She drinks only spring water. - She eats only grain free food that is salmon (fish) based. - She gets steak or hamburger once a week. - Dad takes her for a walk everyday unless it is below 40 then she stays home with my in front of heather. - She goes to the vet just to say hello to the office staff once a month because they love her so much.
Yeah, Harley is about as spoiled rotten as they come.

I cook my dog chicken because he won’t eat canned dog food. He has a blanket that he gets wrapped in every night, he likes to have all the edges tucked in. And I sleep in a ball because he sleeps at my feet on the bed, even though it kills my back and makes my restless leg syndrome really bad. Oh and my kids snowblow paths for him in the winter so he doesn’t have to walk in the snow to go to the bathroom. But he’s a rescue with a really bad start in life so he deserves to be spoiled.

I craft beautiful meals of fish, raw meat, supplement, yogurt, raw ducks eggs etc for my dogs meals in Kong toys. It is time consuming. Then I tell my family to make pb and j I camp solely for my dog Lola. I hate camping. I hate being dirty. But her life is constrained living in a giant city, so we go to small islands and I camp with her so she can have some freedom. (I’ve come to absolutely love it) My little white fluffy gets 90 dollar haircuts every 6 week. I cut mine straight across every 6 months or so, and it costs 10 bucks. Polly the Collie is on psychiatric medication and I’ve basically become a behaviorist to help her through her severe OCD. You know those dogs you can never figure out why in the world they were in the pound? We know exactly why for Polly, she is a nightmare I love every minute of it...though an hour ago when I saw the giant crater in my yard not so much.

BEST. THREAD. EVErrrrrr. I want to make SO MANY comments, but it would take me furr-ever !!! I love everybullys' posts ....and more piks would be wonder-bull !!!
They actually don't sleep with us; however, Sophie USED to. You'd be AMAZED how much SPACE a 52-pound doggie can take up in a KING-SIZED bed! There were many times I'd scrunch myself to the absolute EDGE of the bed to allow Queen Sophie to be comfy, and not only that---we hated to MOVE because we didn't want to wake Her Majesty! "Daddy, this is MY spot on the couch, and don't you forget it !!!" All drinks must have the right amount of ice, AND an umbrella!! NOT my doggie---however, they saw this pawsome doggie kitchen in an ad, so Daddy and I got them one. They LOVE to cook and bake, they are talented! And wellll....I'm just gonna go ahead and BRAG and tell you that they BOTH graduated from a prestigious university with degrees in Nursing. They also passed boards on their first attempt! Just ONE of their graduation gifts was a very nice, expensive Littman brand stethescope. I mean.....only the BEST for the BEST nurses! .

I get up at 5AM to feed our cat, even on weekends. I also only buy the food "she likes" because there are some she doesn't. My Dh says she'll eat if she's hungry, but ..... why would I do that to her?
We changed litter brands Saturday, because the store was out of our usual. Rosie didn't use it but once after we changed it-so I drove out at 7:30 in the dark to the grocery store to see if they had restocked; and bought "her" litter, changed out the 15 dollars worth of brand new litter, and placed her in the box so she could see it was "all better". I feel vindicated, because she went right away.

These make me smile. We have farm dogs, and they are spoiled differently. They get to romp and chase birds in the tall grass. They get to help round up cows (OH MAN ..FUN!!) They get to drink out of a stock tank in the summer, and jump in for a swim if it is hot. They get to ride in the semi hauling grain. They get to curl up by the corn burner in the shop on a cold day. They enjoy the occasional fresh rabbit. Spoiled, just differently.
