The 12 pack of giant muffins are usually always in the trolley after a trip to Costco Everyone buys those muffins! We play "the muffin game" when we go and try to spot a trolley that does NOT have them.... For us it is "Spot the trolley without 4 dozen eggs" and in summer "Spot the trolley without a box of mangoes". Speaking of which, it's mango season, DS loves mangoes, and DSO stupidly took DS with him, so there is a fair chance they'll be coming home with mangoes. And definitely some chocolate mousse.

I’m going with $400, Alex. I never get out of Sam’s Club with less.

trash bags every 2 to 3 months Wow, the box of kitchen trash bags I buy lasts me almost 2 years! I started writing down the date I opened the box (on the box) to see how long it took us to go through it. And this is taking the trash out weekly! Once in a while twice a week.

Does Costco sell alcohol in Australia? I'm thinking it will be way more than $50 with all the holiday specials to grab his attention. Throw in a few 7 foot teddy bears and you'll be lucky if he doesn't drop $450.

Is your partner OK...was he unwell or injured? Mum was looking for a "gardener" while she was incarcerated ( ) but it was just to do really basic stuff like weeding and mowing

That is important info that you left out of the OP. Now that we are talking about TWO males without supervision shopping at Costco together, I’m bumping my guess up to $200.

I vote for $250. He does have to answer to you when he gets home. BUT: he’s also been starving for some shopping and he has a kid with him.

Oh wait we’re talking AUD? Sorry AussieMeg I missed that you are the OP. I don’t know the exchange rate. My guess is in USD. 😂

$195. They have lots of clothes right now that make great Christmas gifts. Pajamas, slippers, and sweaters for the whole family!
That’s what I bought at Costco today, plus baking supplies and groceries for kids coming home this weekend.

I bought a pair of women’s fleece pajamas there a few weeks ago - they are textured, not regular fleece - and I love them so much that I went back and bought another pair in a different color a couple of days ago. Although, it *is* summer in Australia, so I’m thinking they are more likely to be carrying bathing suits right now, rather than fleece pjs.

Well considering that I just came back from Costco and spent over $200 and it's only been two weeks since my last trip, I'm going to say under $100 because I have a feeling your DS probably convinced your DSO to buy things under his tab so that they can split the purchases later.

Bone sucking sauce is from my neck of the woods in Eastern NC. It grew from a small family company that sold it. I actually met the woman who invented it. My dad did an open house for a beach house development he was doing. He hired the woman to do hors d’ouvres and a kitchen demonstration. She had other awesome sauces, but they didn’t all survive the company expansion.
Rob and I used to live right by a Costco and did most of our grocery shopping there. We alw went with a list and limited ourselves to add on items. Or you walk out $200 poorer every.single.time.
We love their meat and seafood. And vegetables. And fruits. And cheeses. And ready made meals. And dairy. And frozen food. And pantry items. And clothes. And electronics. And clearance.
Who am I kidding? The only thing we don’t like is the cigarettes.
