Got my daughter the 4 LP set of vinyl albums of Hamilton she's going to flip out. It was more than I normally budget per person, but, everyone else knows and understands lol. Nothing else I have anyone is going to provide the response I will get from her over that. I might even video her opening it lol.. Oh I got her husband a LP of Linkin Park, that may get a good response too actually

For my husband his personalized wood burning tool. For my daughter a Canon camera with a bunch of other items to go with it and an autographed Tim Burton Nightmare Before Christmas picture. My grandson has only really ask for 1 toy a Paw Patrol robot. But he has really been into the Grinch this year so I got him a stuffed one, book that has toys that I think he is going to love. My daughter's boyfriend I got him a "Tool"( a band he likes) wall clock with their name cut out of an album.

Both my girls are pretty serious in their relationships -we do forsee them being around for quite some time.
I searched high and low for some really pretty ornaments that were dated 2018 - I scored at Pier One - they have a line by Li Bien that is different every year. I got a nice "couple" one for DD & her boyfriend, but ended up with a puppy making a snow angel for DD and her girlfriend, as they didn't have one that wasn't obvious it was boy/girl. But they are SO into their current pets, I knew an animal one would be perfect.
I plan to repeat this each year!

For my husband I got a few stocking stuffers that I know he will love. Little stuff but thoughtful.
For dd 18 I'm most excited for the weighted blanket I ordered from Etsy. It hasn't shipped yet and I knew it was going to be tight but I'm getting nervous. I know she'll love it and be happy even if it isn't there on Christmas morning. I'll give her a picture of it. But I would love for it to be here. And all her other presents. She's a good kid and generally grateful for all gifts.
Other than that I'd say my sister. I got her a back massager thing from BBandB. But I also got her a couple of other small things. She's a single mom and other than my parents and us and a small gift from her son, she really doesn't get gifts. So I like to get her a few small things. I got her a candle from Bath and Body, a cross bookmark (she's a new convert to the Catholic Church) and a sister Christmas ornament.

My youngest son is a huge Dodger fan. He always loved getting t shirts growing up. I have had the old, outgrown shirts made into a quilt. I can't wait for him to see it.

BFs favorite movie is the Goonies, and I found socks at Shopko . Can’t wait to see him wear them.
I also got my son a Die Hard T-shirt, and he’ll love that.
For DD, her favorite will probably be a new Yeti. She loves them, haha, and is excited for the navy one. She’s proud of herself for not buying it already.
And for BF it was going to be “operation” the game. But he came home from shopping the other day all excited. He got us a new game for game night...you guessed it, Operation! So I pulled mine out and we had a good laugh at the randomness of each buying that for each other. (We donated the 2nd game to our adopt a family today)

All of them! My kids are so fun to buy for!
My oldest loved my essential oil diffuser when she was here for thanksgiving so I bought her one just like it and a wellness oil kit with 8 oils geared for wellness. And it came with a free gift of fuzzy socks!
My middle one will love all the Harry Potter stuff I got her including the hog warts express LEGO set I bought after reading here about it. And a Harry Potter cookbook because she’s been getting into cooking at her dads house now that he’s single and needs help in the kitchen.
My youngest is finally getting a tv for his room and some bts (bantang boys-Korean pop group) merch including socks and a hoodie. And some learn Korean books and Hangul practice books.

Soooo what did you get your husband and MIL ?? You know the Peas, details ! Well, my husband's has to stay a secret for a while - lol. But I can tell you what I got my MIL. LINK to the Cusco shawl by Noonday Collections. My MIL were are a home party for this company and she fell in love with this piece which looks pretty unspectacular in the catalog, but looks fabulous in real life. It's wonderfully soft and drapey with side seams and "arm holes" so it fits better than this shows it does. She wears pieces like this a lot. Actually this company has a really great story of helping empower women all around the world through some great jewelry and products. This is the second party I've been to and I've loved everything I got from them. I have the Very Versatile Bracelet and the Indus Leather Crossbody bag, too. I also bought jewelry pieces from them for all the girls my boys have brought into our lives -- a new wife, a new fiance, and one precious long-term girlfriend that we hope becomes 'official' soon. My Noonday ambassador is Diana Tolles. I have no ties to her or the company, but what the hey... I'll give her a plug if you want to buy something from them. The link goes to her page.

My DS dropped large hints about a set of The Walking Dead DVDs, so he knows that`s his present. The extra surprise I got him is an all singing all dancing sleeping bag for when he goes to Paintballing weekends. It can be used as a blanket as well so good for all year use. Cost over my budget...but he`s worth it. What is that blanket? I'm having trouble picturing it.

I bought my daughter who has severe depression and anxiety a weighted blanket. I hope it works for her and I so hope she likes it! I hope she loves it. I've heard GREAT things about weighted blankets! You've just reminded me I need to suggest this to a friend who is deeply suffering with her first bout of depression ever, at 60something.

Both kids make a list each year. So not really a surprise but dd13 wanted a molecular gastronomy kit. I chose abetter one than she had picked out so that’ll be fun.
Both kids have talked about shooting YouTube videos and ds has talked about a photography class, so the surprise family gift is a dslr and various things for video making/photography.

This is what we got DD & DS last year (with a Mario game and Zelda). They were so surprised and of course they loved them!! DS had been asking for one pretty much since the day they came out, but we kept saying how it was just too much $$$. And the switch wasn't really even on DD's radar as a possibility. She loves games and has other gaming systems and all, but she had a lot of other things going on last year at Christmas and so games/gaming was not really in the forefront of her mind. So neither one of them was really expecting it. They still love them and are getting some new games for them this year.

We already celebrated Hanukkah and we gifted 10 yo dgs to see Michael Carbanaro of the Carbanaro Effect TV Show. He is a comedian and magician. We already went, had 4th row seats and he loved it. My grandma job this year was to gift experiences, not stuff. Sooo hard. We also gave him acting/dancing lessons at our local theater company. He loves to sing and dance, so that should be a winner as well.

For having older teen/ young adult kids, I'm pretty excited this year. DS20 really wanted Air Pods (extravagant for his usual wish list), and hinted about them, then his laptop took a dump his last day of class, so he asked for money towards a new one. I knew his laptop was dodgy, and found a killer deal on Black Friday, so the laptop was a done deal already. I had enough $5 & $10 "get a free gift card with purchase" gift cards at Target, to pay $125 of his Air Pods. He's going to be really surprised. DD16 asked for another 35mm camera, and I found the model she wanted, professionally cleaned, with the very rare still working light meter, and an extra lens, for $50 less than she told me a good deal would be on an acceptable condition model. Her DBF is miffed I got a much better deal on her camera, than he did on his. I got the DBF some weird color film he wanted from Japan, and a nice credit on his account for developing, at the camera shop they hang out in, with the owners; their best couple friends, that are in their 60's. He mentioned the film in passing, and it happened to come up looking at cameras and film for DD. He will be touched I was paying attention.

My son wants a Jurassic Park Lego Indoraptor, which only comes in the giant $150 set. Which is a no for right now (he is too young for the big sets) but I was able to find the lego knock off dinosaur, which is all he wants from the set anyway My daughter jokes all the time that she is going to found a cult when she gets older (at least, I hope she is joking). I bought her a shirt thats says "future cult leader". She is going to think it's hilarious.

My child Andie is getting an easel, paints and paint brushes. Will have to pick up some canvas. Though my oldest Bobby really needs to clean up the room he vacated for the smaller one. Making the bigger one into an art studio and he was suppose to have all his crap out before school started in September. Sigh.

I usually don't get anyone really big Christmas presents unless someone will need something big in the coming year. Sometimes, I'll give that for Christmas. This is one of those years - DD is getting a new French horn. I suspect she thinks she is getting one, but I have been harping on how much they cost and telling her not to get her hopes up. It is already wrapped and under the tree, but I told her that I had bought one of the big Harry Potter Lego sets for myself as a gift. She seemed to accept that explanation without question...which probably means she didn't buy it at all! I hope I get the shocked face when she opens it!

Okay, gonna sound weird, but "Santa" is bringing the two youngest Stink Bombz plush. Mom would never, ever buy these because she is appalled by all the toilet humor toys and games out on the market. But Santa decided that they should get the toy farts anyway. "Do they work? WHen I pulled them up on Amazon there was only 1 review. I generally stay away from items like that.

I guess to answer this question, I need to get shopping. I haven’t really done much and everything needs to be shipped. Thank God for Amazon prime. I did ask my friend to pick up my daughter a small item on her trip to Greece this year. She got her a bracelet. I will then give her the Mamma Mia DVD and I hope to give her tickets to see the stage play again. We saw it together and it was hilarious.

Thank you for the post on the weighted blanket. I had asked my 18 year old son what he wanted for Christmas and he just said money. However, I had forgotten that he had earlier asked for a weighted blanket. I just ordered one off Amazon. I think he will really enjoy this as he does battle anxiety from time to time.

My 8th grader has been talking about a macbook for months. I can't wait to see her face (refurbished but still). My husband and son are going on a road trip and driving back the couple thousand miles with a second hand car my husband's aunt is gifting our son. That trip is their gift. They have several stops planned along the way. I am not sure if they have anything planned for me or not.

I have no idea. They come in a blue plastic case that looks like a comical bomb. Even if they don't actually have a smell (they're supposed to), they will still be a plush toy vaguely in the shape of a fart.

I crocheted twin size blankets for my nieces and nephews. I used great striped patterns from the Attic 24 blog and picked colors that i thought they would like. I finished the 4th and final one in July, so I had to wait quite a while for them to open them. We celebrated Christmas with them over the weekend. I spent 30 to 40 hours on each blanket and each kid was totally worth it. My 11 year old niece kept admiring her "beautiful blanket" and was wrapped in it all weekend.
