Just like in the commercials.. a couple of Lexus' in the driveway with big red bows on them.. Then a bottle of parfume you know like the one that what's her name is screaming with that horrible Chandelier song. HAHA.. Just kidding.. don't think I have a 'big' gift thing going on this year.

We bought my DS17 (turns 18 on Jan 2) opening day tickets to see the Atlanta Braves. We are big fans and have always been. We live in FL now and haven’t been to a game in a couple of years. I think he will be so excited! And for his birthday, we bought him a Braves jersey!

They are going to LOVE it!!!
This is what we got DD & DS last year (with a Mario game and Zelda). They were so surprised and of course they loved them!! DS had been asking for one pretty much since the day they came out, but we kept saying how it was just too much $$$. And the switch wasn't really even on DD's radar as a possibility. She loves games and has other gaming systems and all, but she had a lot of other things going on last year at Christmas and so games/gaming was not really in the forefront of her mind. So neither one of them was really expecting it. They still love them and are getting some new games for them this year. I thought that first poster meant like a light switch cover with Nintendo on it. DS/DD only play on their computers and have no interest in gaming systems, so I'm completely out of the loop.

We already celebrated Hanukkah and we gifted 10 yo dgs to see Michael Carbanaro of the Carbanaro Effect TV Show. He is a comedian and magician. We already went, had 4th row seats and he loved it. My grandma job this year was to gift experiences, not stuff. Sooo hard. We also gave him acting/dancing lessons at our local theater company. He loves to sing and dance, so that should be a winner as well.
Oh, that would be an amazing show to go see! For gifting experiences, not stuff, you nailed it!

Oh, I have one! My husband is going to receive an award for his work with the Boy Scouts. A big award. Lots of people (including me) worked hard to get him nominated for this. The chairman of the nomination committee gave me the official notification letter to give to DH for Christmas. He is going to be over the moon!

Next year is the inaugural season of a new professional football league and a team is in our city. My brother is pretty isolated so we like doing experience gifts where we can spend time with him. He loves football and is legally blind so we got seats on the first row, 40 yard line. We’ll pick him up and bring him in town and make a weekend of it. That’s the gift I’m most excited about.
My BFF’s son, who is like a nephew to me, is a super talented artist at 12. So I’m buying a good mix of copic markers geared towards the type of drawing he prefers. Those, some appropriate paper, and some YouTube recommendations I’ve researched and it will allow him to try out a new medium which I think he’ll love.

I am most excited about giving my 11 grandchildren 3 day parkhopper passes to Disneyland/California Adventure! Their parents were all on board so a family trip is set in January with all 20 of us! (From Oregon). I also bought then each 3 T-shirts that I am in the process of putting Mickey/Minnie on with sayings like "Disney is best with cousins".

We've bought dd a drum kit! She has been playing for about a year now and loves it. She will lose her mind christmas morning! And we will probably be sick of that thing 1/2 an hour later 😂

Probably the one I am most excited about is tickets to baseball opening day for my boyfriend. For my 18-year-old son, it is probably the weighted blanket he probably forgot he wanted. For my 21 yo daughter, it is probably the Mamma Mia DVD’s along with a bracelet my friend brought her from Greece and hopefully tickets to go see the stage play.

Can’t believe I forgot this one! Way back in March, freebird had a sale of some of her pieces. There was one in particular I wanted for my Hope Girls. It’s the snowman with the cardinal on his nose. There are 6 of them and that’s exactly how many she had. I’ve been waiting all these months to give these amazing gifts! Tonight was the night. So excited! They loved them. Freebird I still can’t post pics. If you want to post it go right ahead!
