you know what? I think maybe Trump SHOULD declare a national emergency for his stupid wall. Because then, in 2021 when a Democratic President takes office, THEY can declare a national emergency to finally take care of gun control. And one for climate change... and no one will be able to say a THING about it, because the precedent will have been set! Let's see-- what else? Those are two biggest crises I can think of right now. (other than the crisis around finally getting him out of office, of course.) Seems like we’re in a health care crisis too.

As much as I loathe trump, I can't being myself to comment on his appearance. It's low-level unimportant gibberish compared to the off-the-charts imperative issues we are facing daily because of him and the GOP Congress. Even short and simple references to him as "orange" are distracting to me. There are far too many other things to focus on, and none of them have to do with what he looks like. While I really do agree with you, I have to admit I’m occasionally guilty of referring to him as The Orange One.

I can honestly say that I feel most people who do call names are equally as astonished and concerned as I am. We just run out of things to scream in to the void.

Because that is a slope covered in ice. This whole situation is a gigantic shit show and I can’t believe it’s even being contemplated by hose with power in Washington.

Pretty remarkable quote: "When I said, 'if you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance. Period.' I didnt say that." "Well I said it, but I meant something else entirely." What’s your point? That lying in politics is ok? It wasn’t ok when Obama said that, and it’s not ok that Donald Trump lies every single day about everything under the sun. Lying to the American people Is. Not. Ok. But, it was okay for Obama to lie. It was okay with those here who worship him. Excuses were made for him lying and people demonized for objecting to his lying. It's happening in this very thread. Excuses have already been made. It. Is. Okay. here on this board. For. Obama. To. Lie. To. The. American. People. Because Obama.

Pretty remarkable quote: "When I said, 'if you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance. Period.' I didnt say that." "Well I said it, but I meant something else entirely." It was a true statement. The deal was that as long as the insurance companies offered that plan and didn’t didn’t change any of the terms and conditions you could keep that insurance. But some insurance companies decided to make changes to the t&c or quit offering that particular plan so folks would have to move to the new plan that met the ACA requirements. Just like if you like your doctor you can keep him or her, you could as long as the insurance company continued to offer the plan that included your doctor. The point was the ACA was not going to force you to change your plan or doctor as long as the insurance companies continued to offer those particular plans. It was not a true statement. It became a lie when he ended the statement with the word "period". Every damn time. Obama should not have lied and presented it as an absolute done deal that "you can keep your Dr. and insurance, period" when there were IFs, ANDs or BUTS that he knew about and did not present.

Once again, your handslap is worth absolutely zero when your outrage depends only on who said it. It was stating the obvious. As long as you continue to act the same way as those you criticize, you are just like them. I never criticized anyone for commenting on looks. I simply pointed out the hypocrisy of hand slapping only one person for commenting on looks when it's done here all the time and no one says a word until someone you like is commented on negatively. Pelosi looked batshit crazy every time she tried to pop her eyeballs out of her skull. With all the times you personally have called him the Cheeto and such, for you to criticize anyone for commenting on anyone's looks is hypocritical and will be taken with all the respect it deserves. Which is none.

But Trump literally makes sh!t up, every single freaking day.
Sorry, but there is just NO one who compares to Trump when it comes to lying to the American people. Bill Clinton lied about whether he had sex with someone and was impeached. Trump lies about everything, and still, people support him. I don't get it.
And for the record, I was no Clinton fan. Not really a huge Obama fan at the time either. But looking back...

That was long ago, surely not anywhere in this thread!Oh Oh, is he trying to bring forth that dt is really and truly unstable and they might do the 25 thing?!?!?! That the former presidents have been on TV talking to him personally? Yes, not this thread, but did I miss a comment about SHS physical appearance? I’ve seen her called a liar and her actions make people angry but if there was a comment about her physical appearance I didn’t see it. Possible I missed it It’s just that I’ve seen people be reasonably careful not to speak about her appearance where as people talk about Trumps physical appearance all the time. Someone called the First Lady homely just a few days ago.

Hillary was shown to lie an insane amount and people still supported her. Go figure. She and Trump were compared by the fact checkers and Trump's count was higher, but not enough to matter. They were so close.

I'm more likely to call him a fucking jackass than comment on his looks. At that point, calling him orange is probably nicer.
Do what you feel you must on a message board, but there is just something about the president of the United States publicly calling people childish names and making fun of people's appearance that is so incredibly weak and pathetic.

Whether or not she's the president doesn't matter. At the time she was lying up a storm, people supported her despite the lies. They didn't care.

I remember reading an article about what people find attractive in a face. Symmetry was the number one feature and I'm pretty sure SHS' face is not symmetrical. Can't really tell with DT as his color is a bit off-putting.

You know it, I know, anyone that's being honest knows that.

Nope.
You like to tell big whoppers of lies don’t you @ricky?? Now you should understand why I made the comparison between you and SHS.
It is a fact that trump lies and has lied, and continues to lie more than anyone else In Government. And if/when she told a lie, you’ll find most peas DID NOT give her a pass as you claim. You just like to gaslight.
So you are a liar when you state that “just as much lying coming from her”.
You are so full of shit. A liar. A gaslighting fool.

Also, employers can decide which plan they want each year. Obama had no control over whether or not an employer kept the same policy. That was Obama's error. He should have realized that employers & insurance companies, etc, were going to be unethical. Law should have been that they were legally REQUIRED to keep t&c same & continue offering same plans. It was a ploy by these people sabotage the ACA & they shouldn't have been allowed to do it.

This fact checking was done in 2016, so I’m sure that with every day since if trumps full of shit lying, his numbers are off the charts.
“One metric comes from independent fact-checking websites. As of Friday, PolitiFact had found 27% of Clinton’s statements that it had looked into were mostly false or worse, compared with 70% of Trump’s. It said 2% of Clinton’s statements it had reviewed were egregious “pants on fire” lies, compared with 19% of Trump’s. So Trump has nine times the share of flat-out lies as Clinton.
Likewise, The Washington Post Fact-Checker has awarded its worst ranking, Four Pinocchios, to 16% of Clinton’s statements that it checked and to 64% of Trump’s.
“Essentially, Clinton is in the norm for a typical politician,” says Glenn Kessler, who runs Fact-Checker, while Trump “is just off the charts. There’s never been anyone like him, at least in the six years I have been doing this.””

OMG ricky does the same “but Obama” over every damn thing and right fights and nit picks every exact wording...just like Gia, so it's going to the land of ignore too.
As for the name calling...I'm good, I plan to stop when he starts acting like a proper president. All this 'higher ground' is bullshit and I don't blame anyone for not taking it where's he's concerned. He's not some powerless underprivileged kid who can't defend defend himself and needs someone to step in to protect him. He's a fat, privileged white guy who keeps telling us he's a billionaire, and who himself calls other world leaders childish names. So no, I'm not going to pretend it's somehow a bad thing to call him names...he's a fat, ugly, orange trantrum throwing toddler with a fucked up combover and it makes me feel better to say that & I won't be stopping anytime soon.
That applies to sewer rat Barbie & her sister wife Sanders as well.
