I was searching for glass candy canes to replace the actual candy cane in a reindeer ornament a friend made for me many years ago. Googled last night and clicked the first link, yeah, uh, NOT something that one would hang on the tree. Apparently there are glass candy cane shaped d!ildo's available at Amazon. For the love of all that is decent and holy add the word "ornaments" when googling for glass candy canes... Now I'm just waiting for all the "Because you were interested in candy cane d!ildos..." advertisements to start popping up all over the place...

I'm stuck at glass dildos.
What the what. Who thinks glass is a logical choice here?

Maybe they have it listed under ornament in their SEOs or whatever they're called. I'm sorry you were horrified. Hopefully you'll be able to laugh at it soon.

I can see from a sanitation standpoint why glass would be convenient, but the whole concept freaks me out. "Tonight, on 'Weird ER stories' glass candy canes and the people who use them"...

I'm picturing someone's poor grandma ordering decorations from amazon and being totally confused as to what came in the mail.

Grandma didn't get to be grandma without learning a thing or two about a little monkey business. Don't let the little old ladies fool ya.

The first time my niece met her now in laws, they had dinner at their house. Somehow they parents started talking about d!ldo’s. The mom goes over to the freezer and pulls out a glass one! My niece was horrified (somewhat sheltered)! It’s a big family joke with our family now! Anytime someone gets ice out of the fridge, there’s a great chance someone else is going to yell, don’t break the frozen glass treasure!

A glass sex toy should last for years, it's not flimsy glass that's going to break, it's not a light bulb. Added advantage, you can stick it in the dishwasher!

Toys made of other materials don't hurt (unless that's what you're in to of course)

Wow! I love the Peas and my education here. I totally thought that would be just for display, wondering who'd want it displayed, but still...never thought it would be for actual use.

I'm just gonna leave those dots unconnected for my own peace of mind.

I have read--only on the interwebz, mind you,-- that the glass ones are made of tempered glass like Pyrex. Supposedly they are very sturdy and do the hot/cold thing like was mentioned.
Having broken a Pyrex glass casserole dish a time or two in my lifetime, I think I will pass.

Years ago I was invited to a friend of a friends housewarming party, about halfway through she went into her bedroom and brought out a vibrator and went around asking if anyone wanted to try it out on the end of their nose, cos that's how you know a vibrator is a good one. Yeah, no, no one took her up on her offer! It was awkward to say the least.

This is too good to be true! What a perfectly horrible event.

There has been much disagreement over putting dishes that pets have licked into the dishwasher. I don't think that's going to be considered as an advantage here.

I can understand a glass ornament dildo being fragile as you want them light to hang on the tree. The human version is going to be solid and not a danger for shattering unless you have a tile lined vagina.
