I ended up purchasing some paper from TM a week ago. I’ve used that paper to make 5 LO already, so I feel like it helped inject some inspiration into my scrapbooking. I ran out of white card stock for a base for 12x12 pages and I’m trying to make do by using the white backside of papers from packs that I know I won’t likely use or are duplicates.

I’ve done this too. Works well for colors too. A lot os ‘B’ sides are solids.

I'm still frozen. Literally, too, LOL. Grrr.
I have a wishlist going at ACOT. I have a gift card from DD, so when I'm ready it will be guilt free.

I caved and spent $40 this month on a few dies but some of that was an Ebates refund so I’m feeling ok about it. Back in the freezer and will try not to be tempted by anything else!

I'm admiring your commitment! I'm hanging in there. I had to buy glue dots and I need a new zig pen or something similar.

Had a great 3 day crop! Finished 27 pages, so I'm up to 51/100 pages!!! Did not go to Joanns, but did buy some paper from the crop, I hate to attend and not buy anything from the woman who always puts on a nice weekend. I definitely have cut way back on my shopping and feel so good using up paper from way back. The oldest paper I used was from 2003!

I found myself wandering around Michaels yesterday, looking for a specific black marker for drawing, but also just ... wandering ...
I did find the marker. I bought a black one and a pale grey one to try out. And I bought a Tombow brush marker in pale grey for shadows. I put away the other colors I was contemplating and walked on by the set of pale pretty colors. I might get the set from amazon in a couple of months - I have some rewards points thanks to the ridiculous cost of medical care in this country - $185 for a single basic asthma inhaler?! I'm glad I didn't blow a bunch of money on stuff I didn't need at Michael's!

Ugh can’t believe those medical costs joblackford. All I can say is thank goodness for Pharmac and fully funded medications. Just $5 here for each prescription item for a 3 months supply.

Well, I saw *just enough* examples of a stamp set from SSS to decide that it would be really useful for a specific project I'm working on, and I ordered a paper pad that I really liked at the same time. I didn't get the kit that they were from because I really don't need all the other stuff distracting me (regardless of "value"). Anyway, advertising through design teams works... I probably would've come up with a different solution to my problem if I hadn't seen so many examples of how to use this stamp set.
I hope they arrive quickly so I can get to work on the projects before my trip next month. I know I'm going to lose momentum on everything, so I'd really like to make some progress and get ahead while I can.

I did go to Hobby Lobby because I needed a sheet of fun foam. Fortunately it’s not located ne’er the scrapbook section. I did get a couple of packages of needle threaders and that was it.
I may thaw around spring. That seems like a logical time.

Man, I fell out of the freezer hard! Ordered the PF out and about line, some mists, and other random things. I'm hopeless lol. But I'm ready to jump back in the freezer and stay there until May!

I fell off the wagon here...I bought the We R Memory Keepers foiling quill thing on HSN. It was a good price, $5 shipping and I was able to use a $10 new customer coupon so it was a great deal. I'm justifying this by saying it's a tool not a supply and I already have plans for it for my Christmas cards this year.
On the bright side, I found a glue pen the other day so I don't need to purchase that as previously mentioned. LOL

I bought some stuff in the Digi Press sale too, but nowhere near as much as I could have, I reduced my cart from 30 items to the 6 I loved and thought would be used most. No other purchases for me yet this year and I'm feeling pretty good about it.

I guess all I can say is overall I'm spending way less. I am still spending, though. I really wanted Prima's new Midnight Garden collection, and my LSS wasn't getting it. However, I saw that the store I drive right by on the way to visit my mom had the 6x6 paper pad and 3x4 cards. Only $17. Still mostly frozen. Then, a store I follow on Facebook shared that they had the whole collection, and my husband was off to the city for the day. I got him to pick up nearly all of it for me. On the upside, I made two beautiful cards with it so far, and I am way more conscious of what I'm spending.

I'm using the sentiments from my new stamp set, so I don't feel bad about buying it. I'm going to try the graphics next. Does anyone else find that if they don't use a new stamp right away after they get it they don't really use it much or have much enthusiasm for it later? Maybe that's just a sign that it wasn't a set I should've bought - more of an impulse buy, so by the time it arrives I don't even care any more. (ETA: I'm excited about this new set I bought!)
I got a couple of things for my business yesterday. I put back the paper pad that I was on the fence about but got a few extra of the diecut/sticker elements that I'm sure will be popular. I can use them with sentiment die cuts I have leftover. I'm going to see if I can make do without the paper pad since I only like half of it. I might have to get crafty with inks to make my own backgrounds.

joblackford - I am like that about stamps in general. I love the idea of them but very rarely use them. I am so glad you love your new stamp set and nice work making things work without the paper pad.
