What a scary and lonely time for you. Thank goodness your DH recognised he needed medical help. I hope it won’t be too long before he is home with you.

Oh my goodness dald222 you have an awful lot on your plate right now. I am sending good thoughts your way. I'm glad your daughter is nearby. She sounds like an incredible daughter to take care of her parents so well. HD is a very difficult disease to have and you are amazing that you handle it so well. Do you have some hobbies to take your mind of things? Do you watch Netflix and can watch a series (lots of recommendations for fun series here)? I hope your husband is home and better soon and that you have good days. Hugs!

Oh, my gosh. My DH had a heart attack 3 years ago. I know how scary it is. Thank goodness he got to the hospital quickly.
I am adding my prayers for you, your DH, and your DD - bless her for all she does for you.

You mentioned falling. Do you have a call button to wear? It might be a good idea to check into since you’re there alone periodically.

I am a bit upset again...my neice told me that my daughter was coming over today and my daughter just came over to get something for Dave and said she didn't even talk to her and she is not sure she is coming over. I did mention falling. I fell this month in my bedroom. my husband called the squad to help pick me up.. they charged us 8 or 900. to do this. our squad at the old house never charged you. I have fallen in my bedroom before. a number of times. I have fallen in my scrap room too > was not alone until recently and didn't even think about a call button.

I just read your original post Dald222 and I am so sorry for everything that you and your family are going through right now. Please know that I am praying for your husband, for you and your daughter. I'm happy to hear that you have such a wonderful daughter who is able to help you-that is such a blessing. Having a loving pet also helps to provide unconditional love and comfort. They seem to know whenever we need that love without us telling them a thing, don't they?
Do what you must to keep yourself healthy right now and then try to relax a bit. I know that is a very tall order, but your husband is in the best hands he can be in at the hospital. For you right now it's best to try to let the anxiety and stress go because it won't help you. Stress does so much damage to our bodies. You can try deep breathing, music, cuddling with your sweet dog, vegging out with the TV (do people still say this? I am showing my age here) by getting engrossed in a Netflix series and watching episode after episode. Whatever works for you. Wine if you are allowed to have it and drink, some candles for atmosphere if that helps and is safe. Prayer if you are religious and if you are arrange for a home visit from a priest, minister or pastor if that is something they will do.
I wish peace and comfort you and your family and a healthy recovery for your husband. Know that we are here whenever you need to reach out to us.

I’m sorry to hear about you and your husband. Prayer said for you both. Maybe it’s time to think about one of the call buttons in case of another emergency. When my mother- in-law was living alone and starting to fall, it was a big comfort to us to know she could summon help when needed.

I hate being alone I did talk to my knephew for over 2 hours which was good but he has HD too and can't drive I hate not having anyone to talk too. I hate being alone too my computer went off by itself which has been happening and sometime dave has to push the button again to get it going but it went back on for me.. I told my daughter that if I didn't have online I would go crazy

You sound so lonely! I wish I lived nearby, I would totally come and sit with you! Are there any social services in your area that might have a program that provides visitors? Maybe a church you could reach out to? Does your daughter have any contacts through her work that could be of benefit?

I just talked to my husband. I do not think he had a heart attack.. they said it could be one of 2 things..he keeps having these attacks where his throat feels like it can't breathth he could not remember what one was but the other something ventricular tachardia. which if it is that there is a easy surgery to get rid of it.. similar to his heart things he has had in the past but I can't remember what it was. my neice came over today and stayed longer.. she texted my daughter who said she is coming over after work..hospital.. I know that is true cause my husband said it too thankfully. my daughter showed me the frigid weather..windy fore cast.a few days ago I have been worried about losing power while dave is gone. she showed me the weeks forecast..weds wasgoing to be the fidgid day and there were nice warm temps too she saw no sign of wind thankfully
