My youngest loves wide egg noodles so I wanted to use them tonight - I usually make beef stroganoff or a curry with them - curious what others make?

I always have a bag for a quick side dish. I usually put a bit of pesto on them or garlic butter with a bit of Parmesan.

My kids love them with just butter as a side dish to just about anything.

Wow I’ve never even heard of beef tips! Meatballs are a good idea too - we love Swedish meatballs or I have another recipe I haven’t done in a while for meatballs which is absolutely amazing. Pesto is good idea - we make a ton of pesto in the summer but it doesn’t quite seem time yet...

I usually do many of things already mentioned: beef stroganoff, meatballs, chicken and a sauce made from the drippings/broth, add mushrooms to any of these! Tuna casserole...I haven't made that in forever!
My aunt makes fried cabbage and servers with egg noodles. I can't remember if she adds anything else, but I think it would be good with kielbasa added.

a crockpot recipe - stew meat, mushrooms, 1 c. red wine, 2 tins cream of mushroom soup, 1 onion soup mix packet and cook on low 6 hrs and serve over egg noodles.
And I use German egg noodles in my tuna noodle casserole.

I make Paprikash, sometimes with pork and sometimes with chicken. Very popular dish in our house - my dd calls the pile of cut up veggies a plate of heaven.

We love many of these dishes! Chicken and noodles is one of our standard camping dishes. I get the frozen homestyle noodles for that dish. For most of the others I used dry wide egg noodles from the pantry.

LOL They are so easy but it does have to cook a long time so they are tender. Literally dump it all in and mix it and cover with foil in the oven.

Another vote for meatballs. When my kids were little they loved egg noodles, turkey meatballs and gravy. Such an easy dinner.

Chicken! Boil chicken in chicken stock along with carrots, celery, onion, then shred, add back to stock with peas and noodles.
Gosh I miss that so much! Pure comfort food.
I also liked egg noodles with meaballs

Chicken & noodles — Pioneer Woman She calls for the frozen homemade-style egg noodles, but I can’t find them at Whole Foods, Safeway, or Raley’s ... if you find them somewhere local, please let me know! I just use dried egg noodles. Also Hungarian goulash — real goulash, not the American beef-aroni kind. I think beef tips is just a fancy name for beef stew, but I could be wrong about that.

I like a bowl of egg noodles with sea salt butter on them. Nothing else. One of my favorite comfort foods.

During Lent, my grandmother would sometimes get a container of frozen strawberries in juice, heat it up on the stove, and serve the strawberries over wide egg noodles. As actual dinner, not dessert.
(I'm not exactly sure why, though. I probably knew at one time, but I don't remember.)

Walmart carries the noodles in the frozen section where the stuffed pastas like raviolis are located. Reames? Reemes? They are fairly thick noodles. I honestly like the dried egg noodles better.

The beef tips and the beef stew I make are different. Stew has a thinner (but still thick-ish) sauce and has veggies in it (carrots, potatoes, onions). My beef tips are meat and a really thick gravy.

I didn’t click on it but I’ll try to make the beef tips next - I do meat (beef) about once a week or every other week...

I use this recipe for beef tips. It’s fast and one of the favorites in this house. I usually buy the packages of beef cubes in the fresh meat section of Costco, trim the fat and cut the chunks into 4 or so pieces, and then cook them up.
