I don't have one - but I want one. I've been trying to hold myself back from another appliance purchase lol

Where will it live? Will it be out on the counter all the time or out in the pantry/cabinet? How often will you use it if it's not out on the counter all the time?

It would have a house in a cabinet next to my Instant Pot, which I DO use. The only appliances I leave out all the time are the toaster and my Ninja. I hate stuff on the counter. I don't know how often I'll use it. I am an asshole about cooking at home, but trying to be better. I feel like it might allow me to cook some more things a) I will eat (like this salmon recipe I just saw on Skinnytaste using the air fryer) and b) my husband will eat (like potatoes).

I love mine. I’m super happy with it. I make bacon in it, pork chops, chicken kebabs, vegetables, mini pizzas etc.

I can't stand extra stuff in my kitchen. Since I have no space for one, it's a no for me.

My most important question for deciding on new appliances is : How hard is it to wash?
I pass on anything that is a PITA.

Will it get stored in the garage beside the ice cream maker, bread maker, pizza maker and George Foreman Grill? If so then probably not. Cuisinart can go out there, too. The pasta maker is out there as well.

The pasta maker is out there as well. My counter has my kitchen aide mixer (the pasta rollers are in the closet, the ice cream maker attachment is in the freezer, both get regularly used), my toaster, the electric kettle. All of those things get used weekly if not daily. Just today I used all of those kitchen tools. The meat slicer is in the closet too. It gets used a few times a year. Often enough to justify storing it. Anything else is gone. Mr. Coffee- out of there! We donated it a while ago since we use the hot pot for coffee with the french press and tea.

We use ours a couple of times a week, making chicken nuggets (chicken breast cut into pieces, covered in everything but the bagel seasoning) for lunch or to top a salad. We do BBQ chicken in it as well. For veggies, we've done sweet potatoes, homemade fries, green beans, fried pickles.
Oh and my kids love grilled cheese sandwiches in it that they love.

We use ours pretty often, so I'm a yes.
If you have teenager, it's a hell yes. They eat a lot and can do it themselves to eat, eat, eat. And eat.

I don't fry food now so I can't really see a need for it. (I'm sure you can do more than that in it, but that's a moot point for me.)
Also, I don't need to cook in a hurry. I *like* the processes of cooking. I enjoy taking my time. I don't have an Instant Pot for the same reason.
Your mileage may totally vary though.

Definitely you do! In fact right this second I'm eating hotdogs that I air fried. I don't like them boiled, and I couldn't grill them because it's raining...air fryer it is. They come out nice and browned (or as browned as you want them).
Plantains in the air fryer? omg yummmmmm.....

I bought one mainly for my son to use. He prefers the oven. It is rarely used in our house.
The air fryer I have is really easy to clean, though. So, have to give it props for that.
Now, my friend has one that she and her family use all the time. In fact, they are on their second one.

If you have space to store it, and you already have recipes in mind to try, and it's not super expensive, then I say YES!! And then report back to let me know whether I should get one!

I too have toyed with getting one. The one thing holding me back is that everyone (and everyPEA) raves about the InstantPot....I bought one and never use it because dh doesn't like anything that comes out of it

I say yes, especially if you’re in an area that gets hot in the summer. It doesn’t get hot here, except for a few weeks a year, and I still hate heating up the kitchen. I use mine 3-5 times/week. I do “junk” food like frozen fries, but mostly I use it to just cook. Chicken, veggies, steak, etc.

An air fryer is really just a small convection oven, according to what I’ve read. I have a Breville SmartOven that I love and it has a convection setting and is quick to heat up. It’s got lots of other uses as well, so I have decided I can do anything in there that I could do in an air fryer without an additional appliance.

I would be afraid that all I would make in it would be French fries and frozen pizza and tater tots and garlic bread and grilled cheese. I do not need the devil in my kitchen! =)

I have thought about getting one, too. I have a Breville toaster oven that is convection and my range oven also has a convection feature. I am assuming that those do the same thing as an air fryer.
With that assumption I can’t justify getting another appliance that I have to haul up from the basement when I want to use it.

I thought about getting one, but figured our toaster oven that has the convection feature is good enough.

I want one because crunchy food is at a premium in my keto-head. (eating this way for medical reasons, so it's not really optional) I have a convection oven in my kitchen, but just like with the Instant Pot, I want one so I don't have to heat up the kitchen in the summer. We get about five over 100 days a year, on average, but it's easily 90's for a few weeks too. All that to say, it's on my list.

I don't know what an Air Fryer is and I'm not motivated to find out. I bought an Instant Pot because of all you enablers, and DH is the only one that uses it.
I'm eagerly awaiting the invention of a tool that chops vegetables independently of me.
