Congrats, great job. I hear you on the ends, there was a lot! I gifted my eastern jewel to my friend, she was thrilled. It's one of those projects that I would be happy to do again, (a third time!). It's lovely to work with happy colours. Fyi, the same designer has new kits on the wool warehouse site....! Thank you all for the compliments on my eastern jewel. :-) wellway, well done in gifting yours...I have such a hard time letting any of mine go unless I start out specifically making it for someone. I don't need them but I love looking at them haha. Is it the Delft that's the new one at Wool Warehouse? I'm going to try to resist until I finish my Dune. And I just started a Havana. I hope this link works, there are five projects by Jane Crowfoot. I'm moved to fabric at the moment and working on a quilt, big learning curve. My dune blanket is taking a back seat. www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/packs?pack_designer=24049

Just finished a quilt top I've been working on since winter. It's Edyta sitar's "Sew in love". About 1/2 way through I was rethinking my decision. LOL. It's off to the quilter.

Put together a quilt top for a baby boy gift. It's for the son of DH's fishing/hunting guide. They live in the Jackson Hole area so I thought the fabric (a Patrick Lose collection) was a good fit. It will be dropped off for quilting next time I'm up that way. This was a super quick make which was very satisfying! I'm going to take a break from quilts the rest of the month and work on small sewing projects. DD & I are both in need of new shoe bags so that's first up on the list. Really love this. Their baby will be sleeping in style!

Ok. Glad to know that I’m not losing my mind. I thought maybe she was punking people, but it’s got several hundred likes with no one mentioning anything being “off” about it.
I see a happy penis so if that's what you see, then yes. DH on the other hand, told me to get my mind out of the gutter - he claims it's a dick-shaped critter. I asked if that wasn't the same thing and I got a look. I see a happy penis so if that's what you see, then yes. DH on the other hand, told me to get my mind out of the gutter - he claims it's a dick-shaped critter. I asked if that wasn't the same thing and I got a look. Oh, it's off alright!!! Crazy. I see a rather sad penis though. If he was happy, he would be smiling more and of course, pointing a different direction.
Ha! An update of sorts. The maker has been posting every few days as she stitches this up. She finally stitched the head part yesterday, and finally someone commented on the video on her IG. Finally! And several others finally chimed in as well.

I finished up my Sweet Pea blanket last month and am on the 15th stripe of my Dune blanket.
In a couple of months, mom is moving out here from California, where she has lived since before I was born. She will be living in the same retirement community as her sister (my aunt). Yay! I have already planned to gift the Sweet Pea blanket to her when she gets here. Her living close to me will give me someone else to crochet blankets for.

I made the necklace out of my pyritized ammonite fossil cabochon. I used copper foil tape around the edge and overlapped onto the backside for a bezel, soldered over it, then soldered two flat rings onto the back to run a leather cord through. Added a clasp and that was it.

I finished a scrapghan made with the leftovers from some Attic24 afghans. I've made a similar one before and liked making it so much that I made another. This one is going to the women and children's shelter.
It's beautiful. Someone will be very happy to receive it!
