The sanctimony was me, right? With my I'm-not-eating-I'm-dining snobby ass opinion, wasn't it? Haha... I think she was referring to pjaye, who also bullied me on the thread about trooping the color, of all things. Nothing personal but I don't think that was bullying. It was a discussion, even a strongly worded one, but not bullying - you were not powerless or vulnerable. I only say this because there is a lot of bullying in the world these days and it doesn't help if the word is overused in the wrong context imo.

I grew up in a home where side dishes cooked in a pot on the stove were transferred to a serving dish for an everyday meal. Paper plates were for large family gathering or picnics only. I remember watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 years ago and being surprised that they used paper plates for everyday use. Now I try to avoid single use items as much as possible for the environment. My dishwasher will end up in a landfill someday whether I run it everyday or every other day I don't see how that should be a factor here. I remember seeing that.. on Jon and Kate!!! I was shocked! But then again, I can kinda see her reasoning.. imagine all the dishes!! YIKES..
