Friends were discussing candy corn. Several in the group eat candy corn in stages--first nibbling the white tip, then the center color and then the base. I have never done this--I just pop them into my mouth and eat all at once.
So, I wonder--How many peas eat the candy corn in color sequence? How many of us just eat it all at once?

I don't eat it at all. It is foul.

By the handful. I love that waxy pure sugar taste.

When I used to eat it, that's also how I did it. Some things are just made to be eaten in order... an oreo, peppermint pat tie, even a tiny M&M

I eat the base first. Love the yellow. Everyone thinks I am crazy.

Color sequence here, but I eat a lot of things weird like that. Mostly candy.

Add me to the "eat in stages" group. It prolongs the tasty goodness!

In sequence, always. White then orange then yellow. I'm not weird like that as a general rule though!

In sequence. But I change order, I don't do the same everytime. I do the same with gummy bears, I eat the head or feet first?

I only eat candy corn in order when it's the kind that has chocolate at the bottom.

Never liked candy corn, only the little pumpkins. I don't eat any of it now, but now I want some.

it's not my favorite, but if I do eat it, it's in stages, starting with the tip.

I always start with the white tip and always nibble on the line between colors.

I only eat the ones with the chocolate base. I eat the base, then throw the rest away!

Not a big fan but like to eat the color first then stick the white tips on my eye teeth. Instant vampire.

I do both, it depends on my mood I guess. This is me, too. Love candy corn! Only the traditional candy corn, though. Sometimes they come in a package with some that have a section that is brown. Those are just yuck. I think they are supposed to be chocolate flavor, but I don't believe candy corn is supposed to taste like chocolate.

I love candy corn, love it, love it. I love to mix it with chex cereal, nuts and chocolate chips and make trail mix. Yum!
But corn products, including corn syrup, give me migraines. So no more candy corn. Boo hoo!
I'm enjoying reading this thread and living vicariously through all you other candy corn lovers.

I only eat the pumpkins. I eat it around the side, sort of like corn on the cob.

I do both. If I eat by sections, I start with the top.
If I am eating it mixed with peanuts, I just pop them in.

Brach's Candy corn is the kind made with honey. Around here it's the most popular brand and all we ever buy. We get it at Walmart and everywhere else lol. Not sure if Brach's is a regional brand or not.

Not sure if Brach's is a regional brand or not. Thanks so much, I looked up Brach's and it IS made with honey, but also corn syrup. Rats, I was really hopeful! But thank you for the suggestion. Oh well, I'll just live vicariously through all of you!
