well, not much in this industry is new new so you might have something similar in your stash or be able to make something similar. For example I recently saw a sneak with happy little colorful gingerbread people puffy stickers. But why buy a whole set when 1- I don’t do DD ( there isn’t enough activity to do it in addition to my daily photo journal ) & 2 I don’t envision using the rest? 3 how puffy or dimensional would I want go in my journal? However upon thinking about it I do have tons of papers in similar colors ( well almost exactly that color scheme ) and I already have a happy gingerbread man mini die so there I go I can cut ginger people with the die & layer them no purchase necessary. ( but if they are left over & go on clearance I make no promises ) 😜 Where can one find a sneak of these magical gingerbread of which you speak?

It was similar to the FYC guy but I thought there was a gingerbread girl. Maybe I’m dreaming But here’s my little diecut guy www.tayloredexpressions.com/dies/little-bits-gingerbread-man.html

I need these puffy stickers in my life! I preordered the Cocoa Daisy kit and am only allowing myself one more order. This might be it! Were we separated at birth? This is exactly how I’m feeling with FYC after I preordered the Cocoa Daisy kit!

The Simple Stories Country Christmas binder with large rings and large spine shown in this (not so great quality) video in case anyone's interested: I am trying to resist buying an album this year as I have an old 4 ring I should use.. but I love this! I have all my childhood Christmas photos to scrap and am very tempted to use this... hmmmm...

I’m a sucker for something cute. I’m really liking the colors, too

A word of caution re: Pebbles Merry Little Christmas ephemera pieces, they are big. I wasn't expecting so many large pieces when I ordered the phrase and icon packs. I'm not sure what's going on at AC but they have a growth hormone problem when it comes to the ephemera pieces (the issue is even worse for Pink Paislee's Together for Christmas)... I'll try to use them in my 6x8 Christmas album anyway but I might just recycle them to make an Advent calendar and some cute tags. They are super cute and the colour scheme is great, however. This collection doesn't have a chipboard set either so you're really relying on the ephemera packs to do all the embellishing. (tagging pancakes and Charwee) Ren It *is* a lovely little album. Quiet, classic but still very Christmassy. I've already contacted an online French scrap store to check whether this was part of their upcoming Christmas stock to make sure I could get one. mom Sorry to hear about the hiccups with your oldest. Hopefully, this will resolve itself "naturally" now that he has to deal with more responsibilities. Wishing you - quite a bit in advance, granted - a happy visit with your youngest. Hang in there, mama! I'm so glad you're doing a Christmas album anyway. And it's not like you ever quit being a parent or having the kiddos over for all the big holidays.

I like the Elle's Studio Christmas kit. It's packed full and has everything I need. Puffy number stickers are fantastic. It's cute and well put together, but why can't I pull the trigger and just buy the thing and be done with it?

sleepingbooty Could you please DM me the name of the French online store you use? I have a great online store in nearby Spain, which I love, but they haven't had any new 6x8 albums in months. Always on the look out for online scrap stores in Europe. Merci!!

Tara's designs are not my jam at all so I guess the kids kit won't do anything for me this year. Didn't last year's kit come with a red ink pad as well? pancakes Do you want me to measure some of the ephemera pieces for you so you can simulate and see if they'd be a good fit for your format? Happy to do so. Let me know!

Happy to let you know publicly (I doubt they'd mind the publicity ): the Simple Stories Country Christmas Sn@p binder will be in stock at lafourmicreative.fr but they didn't have an exact date just yet. Did you check the Spanish Amazon website for some 6x8 Simple Stories albums? French Amazon has some in stock and with the camelcamelcamel price drop alert, I managed to buy some of their great quality faux leather ones on the cheap during the summer.

I know it's Christmas, but it just feels TOO red and green for me, with a semi-muted pastel lean to it that is too much for my taste. There are pieces I like from it...but not enough to grab the kit.

Sounds like you may just need to have a better idea of what the other main competitors are going to offer this year so you can make up your mind...

I purchased a couple of the puffy stickers/regular stickers from Elle's release, but I felt there was too much I wouldn't use to purchase the whole kit. I also haven't purchased anything from Elle's in years so it will let me try a few pieces and see if it is a kit I should look at more in the future.

Love the little "Eat, sleep, presents!" word sticker from that word sticker sheet. It'd be a nice one to steal if you have kids but aren't buying the Elle's Studio kit.

Thanks nicolep. I contained myself and only bought a set of stamps, the mint green polka dot puffy letters and the acrylic stars/hearts.

I only bought the Good Cheer stamp and the acetate die cuts. I think I just wanted something easy and complete without having to deal with the inevitable issues with Ali or the lateness of FJ. But the kit just isn't for me.

I have the kit and a few other things sitting in my cart as well but need to think about it more. I like quite a few pieces but just not sure whether the whole kit is for me.

The pieces I want from the kit aren't available separately and without them I don't want to buy the add ons...which would be the acetate and maybe a set of alpha puffies...so for me unfortunately it's a pass.
