LMAO at myself over your post about the value of dipping into our stash instead of buying new stuff (which is true!)....and all I want to know is where can I get that stamp set? 😂😂❤️ Bwahaha, so *not* the intention of my post. Stamp set is SEAson by Waffle Flower from several years ago with the ill-fitting "matching" dies from AX since I couldn't source them in my country or scrapbook.com anymore (do not recommend).

Jeana the FJ owner also posted a story of her foot propped in a cast of some sort. I bet there is more to the story than "website" issues. I need a transparency solution, HELP!!! I use a lot of transparencies in my DD. I didn't care for the AE ones. FJ was a hope, but who knows when those will available. I bought fancy (expensive) heat resistant acetate so I could emboss my own...total joke. Sending it back. There is nothing I care for on Scrapbook.com, Paper Issues or A Cherry on Top. Where else can I buy? I'm very picky, looking for white or gold, mostly stars, small snowflakes or polka dots. Anyone tried the Stazon Metallic? I may try to stamp a few of my own but that stuff is hella spendy, I want to make sure it works. Thanks ladies! Pretty Little Studio has tons.

They tend to be a bit thinner than AE’s. I haven’t checked out their stock in a while so I don’t know if they have the white/gold designs that you’re after but it’s worth a shot.

They are very hypocritical vocal Christians (the kind that will go off on retail workers who say Happy Holidays but also have no problems using the n-word). They have tried to force their views and their church on me since before we were married, and they have told people that I’ve changed my husband and they don’t know him anymore. (He’s a much better person now, but I didn’t change him...he was sheltered and I had a part in opening his eyes and widening his views, but it’s who he’s always been, he just didn’t know). Anyway, year before last, I stamped their gift tags with the penis cat and used black happy holidays wrapping paper. I can’t remember what I did last year, but I’m sure there was snark. This year, I think they need a shirtless Poseidon Santa on their tags. 😂😂😂 (I hope I have not offended anyone with this. I have no problems with Christians. I admire their faith. I have problems with the type of Christians my in-laws are. And I downplayed my disgust at them for years until my husband started being vocal to me about wanting to keep his distance from them as well and we only see them once a year now. They truly are vile human beings).

Thank you! I did consider PLS, but they only come in 8x8, which isn't quite tall enough for my tastes. How I wish they would print them 12x12 too!

If I remember correctly, they are quite thin but might work for what you want. I got some last year after Christmas to use this year but I can’t remember where I put them, lol. They aren’t stars but the stripes are pretty cool.

Slow clap, m'lady, slow effin' clap at your use of the Peas' favourite penis cat stamp for last year's gift tags and overall dedication to portraying your discontent through passive aggresive giftwrapping. Do you want me to stamp a few shirtless Poseidon (OH, THE POLYTHEISTIC HORROR!) Santas and put them in the mail for you? I can even do a shitty die-cut job with the ill-fitting die if you wish. Don't feel like you need to apologise: there are shitty folks in every religion as well as among the atheists. Rule number 1 for me is always: how much of a fellow humanist are you? The rest is a matter of not having someone else's religion stuck in my face all the time just like I won't "preach" atheism to anyone who didn't ask for it. Respect, ya know, that basic humanist value.

All the FJ drama is exhausting. Odd that there are website glitches all of a sudden as it's just a normal new line she's launching, business as usual. Oh well. We've seen the vector packs already anyway. The curious kitten in me has curled back into nap mode. I've said this before and I'll say it again. When you run e-commerce you have a STAGING WEB SITE THAT YOU PREP WELL AHEAD OF GO-LIVE. What is wrong w/these folks?!?!?!?! It's not expensive to host a staging site and it prevents all the last minute jamming of stuff and delays and bugs. Gah!!

Another idea for transparencies is to buy a digital file, print on printable transparency and then minc it.....not a simple solution and not cheap....but in a way you will have the designs you want and as many as you want for life. I didn't want to pay Ali's prices for transparencies so that's what I am doing this year.

Shown today in her IG stories sleepingbootyThanks so much for letting me know! 💜🤍💜 I think it's just the colour scheme and sparkly theme? I know that I've gravitated to Sparkle City in the past few days since I started brainstorming a kit inspired by It's A Small World... I should take another look at all the embellishments one by one to make sure I didn't miss something obvious though.

janamke I tried the StazOn Metallic Gold a few years ago and wasn't too impressed. Metallic inks are rarely impressive to me, though, to be honest. I tried quite a few (Delicata, Encore, Brilliance) without finding the right fit. I did not try that StazOn on a slick surface, however. It might look better on non-porous materials. Have you considered using vellum for semi-opaque transparencies? It allows for more room to play with inks and paints. You could also look into something like Vicki Boutin's gold glaze to play with on top of transparency sheets? Not sure if the product is suited for that, you should look it up but it could be nice with a few cheap stencils from AliExpress since you're all about basic shapes. ETA: If you have enough patience, you could punch out circles from foil or glitter paper to create polka dots of your own on your transparency. Do the process all over again on the back to cover any adhesive showing through and you've got yourself a luxury transparency sheet with double-sided bling. They even have foil & glitter vinyl now if you have a cutting machine

I contacted PLS and asked if they can do 12x12 Clears! They can - but they are really expensive. They are $3 a sheet Retail. If they have a big enough interested in the 12x12 clears - they can make them.

I got my Ali kit this morning.
For those that thought the tags were a rip off...they were. They're not even the thick cardstock weight of the cards in the kit. I'm mostly annoyed with that. Even the tags in the kit are the thick cardstock.
Overall though I'm surprisingly happy with my overall order. The green fabric is thinner than the other 3x8 linen albums, but I can only see the white in a few spots on the back of 1 so it's not a problem. The fabric is more textured than the others as well. So I'm guessing to get the right color the fabric wasn't the exact same as they've used in the past.

Ugh. I sat down today to cut down my 2x2 pocket pages to fit my 4x6 album. And all the pockets are hazy! I don't recall them being this hazy before now. WTF.

I know it is hard to recall all the issues, but that one seems to have been a problem before. Their page protectors always have extra room for some reason, but that seems really odd to have it that loose. I know some of the 9x12 pp are actually 9.25 and the other is a bit over 9 as well. I have to always check which album which layouts are going into because of the size discrepancy between the 3 hole punch vs. the 4 hole punch pp.

It never occurred to me to look and make sure they were ok. I know better than to assume they were right. I think I have decided (about the page protectors being too tall) to just trim them every day. Kind of a pain, but the photos fit differently than the journal cards so it will be better to trim them when I know exactly whats going in the pocket. I am wondering if anyone knows if the Snap Pockets will fit the AE 4x6 album & holes? Im somewhat scared I won't have enough pockets for photos.

mom If Ali hasn't changed her 4x6 ring placement this year (doesn't look like it), the horizontal 4x6 Sn@p pockets from Simple Stories will fit perfectly. You can buy variety packs as well. Word of caution: I love Sn@p pocket pages but they are more heavy duty than Inked's. They're a little thicker in plastic and have enough wiggle room (so they are a little on the large side if you want an extra snug fit around AE/SC cards - they fit well for KP cards). I've grown to appreciate the quality of these pocket pages over the years. And they're cheap which is always a bonus. By the way, if you have any old 4x4 pocket pages from those square mini albums left (WRMK, Becky Higgins, etc.), they will also fit. Fun way to play around with size and have inserts in a 4x6.

Good thinking! I may have some 4x4 protectors stuck somewhere!! Thanks for the tip! I’m making progress - I got my cover page done today, made a calendar (still needs minc’d) and decorated the inside of my book. Tomorrow I am working on the cover.

I’ve had a crappy day and you guys just turned it around with passive aggressive penis cat and everything else. Thanks! I needed that!
I agree that PLS transparencies are thin. I will put them in a page protector. I don’t trust them not to rip.
I also bought something from ACOT or Amazon. I thought it was inkjet transparencies. When I get home, I’ll look. I’m in Baltimore for work.
