I still have mine in a bag. I think after our anniversary (40) I'll donate it. Although, maybe I should just do it now, since Halloween is coming up.
It's not a classic style, so no one would want to get married in it. Plus, DD is 5" taller than I am!

I kept mine for 35 years, donated it, then my daughter asked if I still had it because she wanted to try it on to decide the style of her dress. (It would have fit her.) Aarrggh.***The moral of my story is to wait until your daughters are married or have least said they don't like the style you wore.***
My mom kept hers, but I was taller and less endowed than she was, so we took off the trim and I sewed it on a sweater she wore for the holidays.

I have mine in the box it was 'preserved' in. Which I doubt they really did anything. But I have no one to give it to so I should donate it or something.

I don’t have mine but I have my moms which is gorgeous. Hers was a baby blue tea length dress. Not your typical wedding dress. I’ll never fit into it. I’ve got that mid belly spread going on. I got rid of my bridesmaid dresses. I had no need for floor length pale purple, pale mauve, yellow, polyester dresses.

I was a bridesmaid in 3 weddings and gave my dresses to my little girls for dress up.
My wedding dress was a rental - gotta love Boston!

I still have my wedding dress from 1989, neatly cleaned, preserved and boxed. It does have puffy sleeves but it’s a fairly classic style otherwise. At one point a couple years ago I opened the box and showed it to DD and it looked the same as the day I wore it. She thought it was gorgeous so I will be keeping it just in case. She will likely be a lot taller than I am though so I’m not sure if it will work out for her or not.
ETA: All of the bridesmaids dresses I’ve worn over the years were hideous and they all were eventually donated. I still have the pale pink prom dress I wore to DH’s senior prom though!

1st wedding dress: donated to make baptismal or burial dresses for infants. I figured a divorce was bad juju to pass on.
2nd wedding dress. Dyed it blue and still wear it. It was a white beach coverup. We got married on our pontoon in the middle of the Mississippi River!!

I don't. I knew I wouldn't want to figure out where to keep it and how to deal with it. I wanted to be frugal with my money as well. I rented a dress, loved how I looked and felt in it and never regretted renting it through I did have a wee bit of hassle with it at the last minute, but that ended up being one of the sweetest things of my wedding.
When my daughter gets married I suspect we will be renting again. Most of her prom dresses came from a rental place and they treated us so well.

No. I burned it on what would have been our 25th wedding anniversary. I don't regret it a bit.

I still have my wedding dress because my mom made it, and my daughter thinks she wants to wear it. The one bridesmaid dress I got rid of ASAP, I was 6 months pregnant and it wasn't a pretty site in my opinion.

I still have mine in a box, despite being d'v for years. I finally found a place to donate it -- one of those charities who makes "Angel Gowns" -- that makes me very happy. Though I do want to remove some of the lace before I donate. My mom hand-beaded all of the lace and I would like to give it to my DD that she could maybe have it for something small like a hankie and preserve her grandma's handwork.

I still have mine, hanging in its bag in the basement. Not sure what I am going to do with it. I have 2 boys.
I did fill out the form on the Angel Gowns site, they will contact me if they have a need for it in my general area.
