The cover gift for the August issue was the Summer Meadow stamps and die set. The idea page is supposed to be on page 6. Page 6 is ideas for using a Holly Jolly Christmas set, and is listed as this month’s cover gift. The magazine seems to have goofed.
I’m wondering how to contact them. That Holly Jolly Christmas set looks cool, but it’s not the one I got. I almost wish it were.

I don't think it would hurt to ask. Shoot them an email and see if they reply and let us know!

Weird, because on their website, the September gift is an "Autumn Wonder" stamp set.

From their FB page:
July:
Hi everyone, We have a cover gift update for all our subscribers and newsstand readers across the world relating to the cover gift with the August issue, no. 198. If you are a subscriber to Cardmaking & Papercraft (both UK and international), or live in the UK and buy our magazine from the newsstand, then you will receive the Summer Meadow stamps and dies with issue 198. If you don’t live in the UK and buy our magazine from the newsstand, then you will receive our cover gift from issue 202 (Christmas issue), our Have a Holly Jolly Christmas gift, which comes with dies and stamps. When issue 202 goes on sale later in the year, it will come with the Summer Meadow cover gift from issue 198, so you will still receive this gift.
We’ve done this as lots of countries receive the issues on the newsstand later than the UK on-sale date. This swap means our overseas newsstand readers will receive their Christmas cover gifts in time to craft their festive makes, and then can use the Summer Meadow dies and stamps for their spring 2020 makes.
From this past Tuesday:
Thank you to everyone that got in touch to inform us of the misprint in issue 198 of Cardmaking & Papercraft. To clarify, overseas subscribers should all have received the Summer Meadow cover gift (same as UK readers), while those purchasing from the newsstand will have received the alternative ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’ cover gift, which will also appear in UK copies of the magazine in issue 202. When issue 202 goes on sale overseas, it will come with the Summer Meadow gift, instead of the Christmas gift. We swapped these gifts around so that readers purchasing on the newsstand would have enough time to use their Christmas gifts, as the shops often start stocking the magazine quite some time after subscribers have received their copies. Unfortunately, due to a printing error, the ‘Your Cover Gift’ page for our overseas subscribers refers to the swapped Christmas gift, and not to the Summer Meadow stamp and die set that you received. We are very sorry for this mistake, and have attached images of the correct pages for you. If you have any additional queries about your gift, drop us a message or email writetous@cardmakingandpapercraft.com

I won't be subbing to this magazine anymore. Problems with my subscription, in addition to unclear terms, have made me decide to buy individual issues after my subscription runs out.

Thanks, everyone!
I would at least like to see the samples that go with the Summer Meadow stamps. It sounds like they are available, whether on the internet, or through an email to them.

I only purchase these when they are available at WM. The last one I picked up was their June or July edition. I love the little freebies in their magazines. scrapnnana, I hope you get the information you need on line. And you can look forward to the Christmas set of dies in upcoming months.
