Omg yes! I follow A Bowl Full of Lemons on IG and I used to love her feed..now it’s just her mostly running on her treadmill and showing her time on her watch lol. Yep! That was who I was referring too.

If ads get to be too much, you can view instagram via your regular browser and there are no ads. I only see ads on the app. About 90% of the time I am looking at IG on my computer browser. It makes the experience so much more pleasant! I can't think of anything I see too much of on IG, and if I do feel like I've had enough of one particular person or thing, it's just so easy to unfollow that I don't give it a second thought I am constantly following and unfollowing IG accounts. Apparently I have a short attention span and low tolerance levels. One account I would never, ever unfollow though are accounts that show photos and videos of cute kittens named Dora! You can also mute people. So you still technically follow them (in case you want to see them again without searching) but muting will remove their posts and stories from your feed.

That article is absurd. Shaming women and girls for the way they present themselves in photos because this writer has decided she's above it all... even though she's been "guilty" of it plenty herself. Ugh. If someone likes the way they look in photos in that pose, that's their choice. Enough with the judging everyone for everything. UGH. I copied this tweet from the article in the VSCO thread. More of this!
"vsco is such a positive environment: wanna constant post ab your boyf? yes girl you go. wanna only post ab your pup? heck yes we’re here for this. wanna post ab every meal you eat? plz gal I wanna see that açaí bowl. it allows you to be who you are w no judgment & that’s amazing"
Are you calling me a VSCO Girl?

I’m getting so sick of instagram...it’s full of “influencers” whining about people being rude to them in comments and DMs. If you mandate that I must greet you and compliment you in my comment before I can ask you a question, I’m thinking I’m definitely not gonna bother. Just saw this post the other day. You have GOT to be kidding me. I don't even follow the person who originally posted about it and I guaranteed won't now.
I'm also over the Grove thing. And people posting their CrossFit workouts. WHO CARES? who cares what your WOD was? Why do you think people want to watch you work out unless you are actively teaching how to do a particular exercise? How ridiculous and self-absorbed. NOBODY CARES.
Also cats. I don't care about your cat.

The stupid 310 powder drink crap! That is a bunch of shit and I wish people would stop promoting it.
And I’m pretty much over Mila and Emma. They are slowly getting out of the cute baby stage into the bratty kid stage.

Pictures of you holding a bowl but the background is your bare feet on the ground. Was the whole point of the pic to sneak in your feet? I don’t want to see your feet.

If I never see another "amazing" sunset photo, it would be okay. Unfortunately, the photo image never captures the "amazingness" of seeing it in person. Spare us. I'll catch my own sunset in real life. (Ditto for sunrises, moon shots, and any other sky photo). I do not tire of food photos. Show me what you're eating. I love that. I agree with annabella on the feet photos. Unless you're showing off a kick-ass pair of shoes, leave your feet out of your photo.

I keep getting ads for engagement rings. I'm not even in a relationship. In a similar vein-I follow the nutfree hashtag to find out about products that might be safe for my daughter. I get a shit-ton of ads for nuts, peanut things, energy bars with nuts, etc.

Seriously! If someone prefacing a question with “just curious...” is too “triggering” for you, perhaps you are just a little bit too thin skinned to be an “influencer” on Instagram 🙄 These people put themselves and their content out there, and then expect to be able to dictate how the whole wide world interacts with them? STFU

I don't get being annoyed by what other people are posting. If you don't like it, unfollow. I don't understand the whole "hate follow/watch" thing. Why invite stuff into your life that you don't like?

I was with you until the cat hate. I work out almost every day and no one on my social media ever hears about it. I'll admit to posting pics of food I cooked, but only if I think it looks especially pretty.

So many of these, I want to say 'YES!' to.
That's why I only follow mostly peas and a few scrap companies. Got so tired of people posting the most copycat, mundane stuff.
But that doesn't mean it doesn't sneak in on the 'search' feature sometimes.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean no one does. I follow a couple fitness hashtags because I want new ideas. I don't need anyone to teach me anything, but seeing people's workouts sometimes prompts me to try something different.

I'm done with all of the "fake" commercials. You know, the ones that start with "Look what so-and-so just sent me!" As if some rando just sent you a whole box full of their products out of the goodness of their heart. Hell no! You are hawking people's wares to score some free stuff. It is so fake and so annoying and as soon as I hear the siren call of "I got the most AMAZING box from..." I move along. It's worthy of an unfollow.

Well, I pretty much only follow a few peas, personal friends who don’t post too much and Disney or animal accounts so I don’t think I have seen any of the things mentioned. I sure as heck would be more liberal with the unfollow button if I did though.

I will occasionally post my Crossfit workout showing my rounds and reps. I’m 56 yrs old, have scoliosis, I have weight to lose and I’m new to fitness. I figure showing that I can do it, might inspire others to try. Now that is on Facebook and I usually only post pictures of my dog and my dog activities. My friends tag me on pictures of our bike rides, hikes or dog gatherings. If people don’t like seeing pictures of my dog they should just unfollow me! I have an instagram account but rarely remember to check it. It is all active dog people though

I like sunsets. And food pics. And coffee. It makes me feel close to my friends.
I don’t need to know everytime someone exercises, though. Pictures of your Zumba class do nothing for me.
I like kids and babies. As long as there’s no flash. I hate flash pictures.
I get tired of ladies who have one “look”, and every single picture of themselves has it. Sorry, that’s boring as hell, and I like some of these people. Switch it it, please!
And when did all these 20 and 30 something childless couples get the wherewithal to spend every waking moment hiking? I’m jealous.
