So since we seem to be on a Thanksgiving threat kick, I thought I would ask what your favorite food item is from Thanksgiving. It could be a side, a dessert, or the main star.
For me, it used to be the turkey. But now that I am allergic to turkey ): I really enjoy my mom's mashed potatoes. In a close second is the sautéed vegetable.

Stuffing or dressing or whatever you want to call it. And cranberry sauce. But not the jellied kind. I like other things, but those 2 are the most thanksgiving-y to me.

Au gratin Potatoes, extra cheesy. I like a good ham as well. My mom always makes a pot of homemade chicken and noodles which is really good, but don't consider that really a Thanksgiving food.

I have to say the turkey. But really all of it together. We make pretty much everything else during the year at normal dinners, but this is the only meal we have it “all” together.

Too hard to pick just one. But since I have to, I'll go with stuffing. Followed by pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. And my sister's mac and cheese. Clearly I love me some carbs!

My famous White Chocolate Cheesecake. I have it down pat and make it two or three times a year. If you google Kraft White Chocolate Cheesecake, the recipe will come up. It is truly the best cheesecake I've ever made!

Stuffing. The only time of the year I eat it so I will indulge.

All. The. Carbs.
My plate looks exactly the same every Thanksgiving. Mashed potatoes, dressing (not in the turkey), corn, cranberry sauce (not the jellied stuff), and rolls with butter.
I’m a vegetarian and there has never been a dessert I would leave room for. So all that above, twice.

Stuffing--as long as it's the recipe made by my Mom, my Dad, or myself.
My second favorite would be the whole thing together--the previously mentioned stuffing, turkey (freshly roasted, not murdered in the oven and then warmed all day in a hot slow cooker a la MIL), mashed potatoes (real, always), and gravy...all in one bite!

Your typo in the first sentence has me smiling.
Swedish mashed potatoes (butter, sour cream, cream cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper) and gravy!
I'm vegan now so those potatoes are a no go. I can still make a yummy mushroom or onion gravy though.

I’m on a low carb diet and really looking forward to the stuffing and mashed potatoes that will go in my belly on thanksgiving day. My favorite foods. Also corn pudding.
I also love deviled eggs and my mother in law’s jello fluff dessert.
