Samantha25 nice try. But no my apologies, only looked at the shy member status and a non factual, irrelevant list about vaccinations as seen from a certain pattern of posters.

So Elaine because I have concerns and questions I’m ignorant!? That’s the problem if people have questions and concerns were not allowed to voice them Hell no I don’t want to. Watch a SNL clip. That shows your ignorance. “Ignorant” means lack of knowledge. Characterizing you as ignorant doesn’t mean you are being prevented from voicing questions or concerns here. At all. Many/most here will believe that what you’ve presented here as knowledge is illegitimate. You’ll have to convince them with citations and proof. Anyone can increase or amend knowledge with further research, which could certainly include discussion here. But you’ll find very few, if any, people here accepting what you’ve presented without attribution: that the vaccines are highly and knowingly lethal; that they’re killing thousands of people whose deaths are covered up by a confederacy of social media, media, and medical/hospital administrations; that celebrities and Dr. Fauci only pretend to take the vaccine; that lethal vaccines were developed to address a pandemic that is either fake or planned. Even that there were only 1800 cases of the flu (in the US? the world?) this year. You’re not being silenced. You’re being questioned. Questioning works both ways. What an elegant response....reminds me of Jen Psaki.

We have a 43 inch one and have not had that problem, but we use cable TV and not many apps. I did have this problem with an older TV, using an Amazon firestick and trying to load Asphalt airborne 8. I had to attach an USB to the firestick to load apps onto it for storage. There was an option to load apps externally. Not sure if the Toshiba TV will let you do this or if there is a port to attach an external hard drive.

Watching the nightly news they are talking to the L.A. school's superintendent talking about mid April return for students. My question is, why bother? When does your school year-end? Our school year around here end middle to late May. That would make them in the classroom about a month and a week of that is testing. ETA: We've been in person the entire year in not only my, but also the surrounding districts. Cherry Creek School District in Colorado, 6-12 going back full time on April 5th, school out before Memorial Day and April doing CMAS (state testing). I don't see the point of this. The online school, Elevation, initially required students to return to their homeschool to do in person CMAS testing, but now all students opted out.

I just saw this thread because someone tagged me. Sorry guys, I'm coming off of a 3 day migraine so I haven't been here much. Judy26-I agree with TracyLynn. Go the the best dispensary you can find. You can find dispensaries in your area by looking them up in weedmaps.com Go to one, tell them all of the issues and the budtenders (like bartenders but with bud used instead) will help with choosing products and strains. If you don't get much help or the budtenders don't seem very knowledgeable choose another dispensary the next time. Most budtenders are good and really work hard and are trying to help their patients/customers. A chocolate brownie sounds great but I've never seen one sold here in MD. Each place Canada vs. USA and even between states will sell different products. Usually you have your choice of leaf (which can be vaped or smoked) solids or liquid cartridges (which can be vaped), solids (which can also be nail rigged or e-rigged), edibles, tinctures, lotions and topicals, drinks, and probably something I am forgetting or that they just came out with. Also here in the USA we can't order anything through the mail that has THC in it. We have to go to the state dispensaries. If she wants something for overall pain, to give her more energy, and to focus I would recommend a sativa over a indica. Sativa's usually wake you up and energize you and indica's usually slow you down, melt you into the couch. You wrote that she tried CBD and it didn't do a thing for her. I had the same experience. For me I needed the THC to deal with my pain. But with THC comes some of the loopy feeling depending on her body chemistry and depending on how high the THC is in the product. It all depends on her body chemistry. I have a very high tolerance to medication. Always have from the time I was 5 years old in an Army dentist's chair and I was telling him I could still feel the drill after the morphine and he didn't believe me. He just told the nurse to hold down my kicking legs and kept drilling. For me I can smoke flower with 18% THC and not feel a thing. For others they'd defiantly feel it. So as they say, start slow. The budtenders will probably start her at a very low THC to see how her body reacts. Also remember this: if you don't feel anything your body reacts slower too as far as feeling better-that's my theory I could be totally wrong. This is after having my card and using medical marijuana for 2 1/2 years. Feeling the effects of THC isn't bad. It's a very nice mellow feeling. It isn't like feeling drunk at all. I do realize she is 87 but if she is at home with someone supervising her she should be okay. I usually watch TV after I smoke. I wish your mother the best. Oh there's a great book I can recommend for anyone who has questions about this entire subject. It's called "Stoned: A Doctor's Case for Medical Marijuana by David J. Casarett I found it at my local library and it was such a great read. I feel so much better now about smoking flower (it's the best result I've gotten) because I now know it won't damage my lungs. I wish the best for your mother and if you have any other questions feel free to PM me. Are you a redhead? Redheads have a mutation that affects pain tolerance and meds....just curious

I have had a minus 8 to minus 13 over my adult life, now 52 yo, not sure what my glasses prescription was in kindegarten. I did develop strabismus, eye crossing and had surgery on both eyes when I was 30 yo due to my severe near sightedness. Get a good optometrist/ophthalmologist. Do not use a chain store. I recommend Children's Hospital. My surgeon for strabismus was at Children's and I went to the pediatric wing for an exam and enjoyed the setting, even though everything geared toward children.

Cells derived from elective abortions have been used since the 1960s to manufacture vaccines. I guess they are also against current vaccines such as rubella, chickenpox, hepatitis A, and shingles. They have also been used to make approved drugs against diseases including hemophilia, rheumatoid arthritis, and cystic fibrosis. Were they also not aware that the drug Regeneron that Trump received is also reported to use similar cells. I'm sure Trump with all his pro life promises didn't think twice about receiving that. There are better ways to win the abortion wars than telling people not to use a vaccine. These cells are decades old, what are they to do, throw them away and set back medical science by decades and let us all die in the meantime? Yes! We use these cells, HEK293 cells all the time in the laboratory as a means to propagate virus, insert vectors and DNA, etc. We aren't studying the properties of the stem cells. The cells are just a vehicle just like we use cancer cell lines in research.

I can only wink with my left eye. I have used this as a crutch to see long distance when I start to go cross-eyed. I had strabismus surgery 18 years ago and I fear that I am loosing my "straightness". Just wondering if anyone can only wink with one eye only.

If they are the small flies, put out some bottles of red wine with a little bit of wine left. My science colleague that used fruit flies (Drosophilia) for her studies always had wine bottles out to collect her specimens that had gone astray. LOL Flies also like to hang out in the soil of succulents.

I knew y’all would come through! I bookmarked this one and the other thread someone suggested. Tons of good ideas. I’m going to make some lists to kill time until we pick it up! It came with storage totes throughout the whole thing so I can organize into totes too! It’s crazy how excited I am! I’m going to pack word puzzle books and games like Yahtzee amd cards and really try to disconnect from everything when we go places and connect with my family more. I think this will really be something we look back and wonder why we didn’t do it sooner. Our best couple friends are campers and have already warned us to get reservations going. Husband wants to do a small close to home run for our first time out. Our friend has an extra spot reserved for the 4th of July and offered to us so we definitely have 4th of July covered!! I definitely recommend doing a small trip close to home. My parents got an RV and came out to visit me in Colorado traveling from Illinois. They stayed at a park in the mountains and when they came down into Denver, their brakes/engine broke down. It was all tore up (as my dad would say, lol). A trip to remember, but something they were not expecting. It will be a great adventure!

No one mentioned his Ambien use for an aphrodisiac...or did I imagine that? Did newscasts talk about that? Good for him that he has a private life to have some fun and indulge. I hope he will be able to resume his career and a tragic accident.

What kind of mistakes have you made when you go away from home to crop? My friend and I usually have two weekends a year that we go away and crop. We have been doing it for years so I am used to packing to scrap away from home, but I made a major mistake the last time we went. I let my husband take my stuff out to the car and didn’t check to make sure I had everything. He even said this doesn’t seem like as much as you usually take, but I had tried to pack lighter, so I didn’t think to look. I didn’t have my tool bag, that has my scissors, pens, adhesive, and really a ton of other stuff. It’s my own fault because I had put everything in one spot other than that bag, but I was planning on loading the car myself. If I had loaded everything I would have known I was missing it. I also couldn’t get my PictureMate printer to work with the hotel WiFi. I brought very few already printed photos so I had to make pages without photos and I’m printing and adding them now that I’m home. If I had brought my laptop I could have connected it and printed that way, so lesson learned there. Do not depend on being able to print wirelessly. We still had a great time. I love our scrappy weekends even with not having everything I want with me. What kind of mistakes have you made scrapping away from home? Too late now, but my wireless printer operates on a 2.4 GHz channel, not 5 GHz so I had to make a separate channel for printer or as Epson suggests to have a dual channel setting. So frustrating when things don't work, but you still finished some "naked" layouts. Lol

Just finished creative chick's distress ink class. Really fun, although my spray bottle I have was a dud which made some things difficult. I'll invest in the Ranger one.
