I work at a beauty school and I'm a working cosmetologist and you ladies are 100% right. Your license wont show where you went to school and most salons don't care, that's just the facts. The people in the office are salesmen just trying to sale/get you in the school

I was in the boat a few weeks ago..........
I love my d90 but sometimes its just to big to carry around so after much reading (and knowing myself) I went with the nikon 1. I liked the interchangeable lens and the small point and shoot size. I love it!!

Maribeth you copied all of the blue and [/IMG] from post?
this [/IMG] goes on the end of the blue but if I make it all blue it becomes part of the link and will only show your badge pic.
so like this, no space between gif and [/IMG]

This is how I did it......
Right click on the pea badge to high light it (blue)
Right click again and hit "open image in new window"
it will open in a window all by its self.
right click again and hit " save image as"
a box will pop up, go to desktop hit save.
go to photobucket up-load saved badge photo to photobucket.
Copy the IMG.
come back here with IMG and put it in the signature box, hit preview and you should see it.

CARAMELS
2 C white sugar 1 C brown sugar 1 C light corn syrup 1 C evaporated milk (NOT sweetened condensed) 1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 C butter 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Combine all except vanilla in a large, heavy pan. Stirring constantly, heat to exactly 250 degrees and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla (will bubble up). Pour into greased 10x15 pan and cool. Cut into bite-sized pieces and wrap with wax paper.
**note that you must use a good candy thermometer and watch it carefully. it will sit around 220-230 for a long time and then all of a sudden jump up. If it goes under 250, they will be too soft, and if it goes over they will be too hard. Enjoy! I seriously have about 15 friends/family members that have a standing request for these caramels.
