Yep, I've done it too and they can be really hard to spot. Mine have sometimes been on the floor or stuck to something like a paper trimmer or scor-pal etc. It's ironic you mentioned it maybe was stuck underneath her trimmer. I've been scrapbooking all weekend and my trimmer was uneven and it was driving me crazy!! Turn out there was a thick metal embellishment stuck underneath it.

Now that I'm finally done with my DD I'd like to get a little more caught up with my daughter's album. I'm 3 years behind with that ....

I also love them!! I find they work perfect for making cards. They are actually about all I use for patterned paper on cards.

A lot of the time, I do the same thing with my journaling. I do find it is SO hard to go back and finish it. I really should just do it right away. But I agree, it is nice to do it all at once and save on paper. I'm working on the last page of my DD!! YAY!!!

Crafts Direct in St Cloud, MN is a general crafting store, but they have a LOT of scrapbooking stuff. They have many of our favorite brands and up to date papers. Crafts Direct in St Cloud, MN is a general crafting store, but they have a LOT of scrapbooking stuff. They have many of our favorite brands and up to date papers. Pine City Scrapbooking Co. is a little farther north in Pine City. They also have stamps and supplies, and I think they have added fabrics too. I haven't been there in a long time though. I visited Crafts Direct for the first time last fall and I loved it!! I found lots of items that I needed and also I found a lot of newer products. I'm definately planning on going back.

I really, really want to get back into scrapbooking. I lost the joy in it several years ago because of something that happened and I find myself getting sad when I think about scrapping. I've pared down quite a bit on supplies but I think I want to get rid of my stamps because I don't use those anymore. I just find the whole process overwhelming. I wish I had some friends that scrapped but none of mine do nor do they have any interest. BUT....I want 2016 to be different. I have a ton of pictures that I need to get into albums. I need to seriously get my craft room organized and set up. We've been in our house for almost 3 years and I've only done a little bit of PL on my son's albums. I am probably 5 years behind. I just feel overwhelmed with my house in general. Older house that needs a lot of remodeling and too much stuff. I've told DH that we have to at least get the house de-cluttered and organized so I can function. Sorry to have gone off on a tangent but those are my goals for 2016! I felt exactly the same way you do a few years ago. Because of some unfortunate events, mainly my daughter becoming very sick with a chronic illness, I couldn't even look at my scrapbook supplies or walk into my scrapbook room. I really missed Scrapbooking but just couldn't do it. I took about a 2 year break and did a huge down sizing of my supplies. Finally, I did start scrapping again and now I love it more than ever. I hope the same happens for you.

I'm up and working on it once again. Since the weather forecast is not to get above 0 degrees here for the weekend, I should finally finish it this weekend. I only have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day left.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one still working on mine. I was almost thinking the same Oaksong, but I'm determined to get it finished. I'm always so happy when it is done, since this is one of my favorite projects each year. Good job Mom!!

So I'm just curious, is anyone else is still working on their DD or am I the only one? I'd really like to get mine done soon. It is suppose to be extremely cold this weekend, so hopefully I can finish it up. I'm ready to get back to my regular albums.

My 2016 Scrapbooking goals are to finish my 2015 DD (I'm about half done), get caught up (a little anyways) in my dd's album, start an album of my husband's childhood and finally do something with vacation photos from Florida and cabin last summer, not sure what thou because I was having camera issues and the photos did not turn out well at all. Very sad. So I'll be pretty busy in 2016 !! Happy scrapping!!

My word this year is KINDNESS. I am typically kind to others, but not so much to myself, so this year I want to focus on being kinder to myself especially. Kindness was my word last year!! I choose it for mostly the same reasons you did.

My word for 2016 is joy. After a couple of hard years everything is finally settling down and going well. So I am ready to focus on and find joy in the little everyday moments.

I never used to understand when people would say their word picked them, but that's what happened to me this year. I've had a really rough year and am struggling on so many levels right now. The word that keeps presenting itself to me is "forward". At first, I rejected it - it didn't appeal to me AT ALL. (I'm more of the wallow-in-the-past, pessimist type.) But the word wouldn't go away and I started to think about what it could mean: looking forward, moving forward, paying it forward, etc. I've decided to go for it. So my word for 2016 is FORWARD. I love this word and your meaning for choosing it.

A Canon Rebel camera as I am having major camera issues and am badly in need of a new one. Also, a Big Shot as I somehow broke my old one and a monthly Scrapbooking kit. I actually just subscribed to a monthly kit as a early present to myself!!

I am probably the exception as I prefer to go alone. Granted, I am an extreme introvert but I find it very relaxing and very productive going to a retreat by myself. I absolutely love it and get so much accomplished. You might really like it also!!
